Does anyone belong to the 24 Hour Fitness in Mansfield? I have a membership and my youngest juts turned 6 months so I can take both kids to the Kids Club. I am nervous about going to a gym and also about leaving my kids in the playroom. Just want to hear about some experiences if you have any. Thanks.

What can I do next?

I do not belong to the 24hr Fitness in Mansfield, but I do belong to the one in Grand Prairie on 360. I have used the kids club for about a year now. I haven't had any problems with the young ladies that work there. They monitor pretty well and they watch the kid ratio to worker. I would suggest asking some of the parents that you may see dropping off their kid(s). Good Luck!

I am a member of the 24 hour fitness in Mansfield, but my membership is on hold right now b/c of health related reasons. I have taken my son to the kids club several times. He does okay in their and seems to have fun. Although we did have an incidence in their a couple of times..when my son was going through a seperation phase..they weren't very patient with that situation and even told me that I had to take him. But, after we got over that issue it was fine. The girls in there are pretty good with them...depending on who is working in there. When I was going pretty regularly they were getting to know him better and he was more comfortable going, b/c he recognized the workers more. I do wish they had more for the toddlers to do, a seperate room/area for the babies, and an outdoor play area for them also. Otherwise, it is fine.
Good Luck and have fun working out!!

I have a membership there that is on hold right now due to finances. I really enjoyed going when I was able to. My kids didn't go to the Kid's Club but it looked really nice and like a lot of fun. I just took my headphones in so I could watch TV while I walked or used the ellipticles. Everyone was very nice and just seemed to do their own thing. I was never uncomfortable at all.

Well I go to 24 Hr Fitness but the one in Fort Worth off Hulen. I take my 10 month old to the Kids Club, but I have not had luck getting her to stay for more than 15 minutes. The longest she's stayed is 30 minutes. One of the members in the Kids Club suggested for me to go during the morning hours when there were more babies & to try & stick to the same staff member so that she gets used to her. We have not tried that yet, but we will. I need my daughter to get used to it so I can work out more often. Good luck and don't be afraid to try something new...

We have memberships at the 24 Hour Fitness in Mansfield as well. Our sons are 3 1/2 and 9 months. I've never taken the baby there, but have taken my 3 year old several times. He is very shy and gets upset when we leave. I think if we took him more often he'd get used to it, but it's a pain to drive out there & have to turn around & go home because he won't stop crying. So generally I leave him at home with Daddy if I got to work out, and vice-versa. I'm hoping that once he starts preschool that he'll be more comfortable around kids & I can start taking them again. Maybe I should try & just take the baby... get him used to going early on. It just seems like they had the younger babies in a walker/exersaucer type thing. Hopefully they sanitize it really well. Otherwise, I have been pleased with the Kids Club.

I actually just joined 24hrFitness in Mansfield and my little girl is 7months. We try to go in the morning before the nursery closes at 1, b/c it's not as busy and I know my baby will have someone's full attention.
