Try www.FaceoftheWave.com. They have some great children's haircare products, as well as incredible eczema products. In fact, their eczema wash can be used as a shampoo! http://www.faceofthewave.com/catalog.php?item=118

Why use anything at all? Get her some barrettes or some cute hair accessory and make her and yourself feel good with what she has.

We like Aubrey Organics because their products are the purest and the shampoo we currently love by them is the Primrose and Lavendar shampoo. there is a great conditioner by them GPB or something like that. We get these at our Health food sTore.

Hi. My daughter (3 yo) does not suffer from the issues your daughter has but I am still picky about the products I use. I am happy with California Baby shampoo. I buy it at Target. It is a body wash, as well as a shampoo. It is recommended for people with eczema and other sensitivities. I use the "calming" shampoo/body wash for my daughter. The website is californiababy.com.

Good luck.

Eczema and fine hair can be indications of missing nutrients in her diet, check out Fiengold diet, & Dr. Bruce West's Health Alert, or International Chiropractic Pediatric Association for someone to do a nutritional work up for her.
You are soooo right about staying away from the chemicals!!!
Best of luck, k

I go to TJ Maxx or Marshalls to get my shampoos and conditioners. They do sell organic shampoos and conditioners. My granddaughter has very fine hair and the length of her hair is down almost past her bottom. I also use the products on my 3 year old grand daughter. Go to either or both stores, read the ingredients in the shampoo and smell the shampoo to make sure it is not bad. I have had great results in finding organic hair products there and all three of our hair is fine and long. The price is awesome too!
Sincerely,
L. Jacobs

I recommend California Baby products. I have no affiliation with them whatsoever, but when dealing with my son's eczema was the only locally available product I could find that had no SLS, SLES, preservatives or other nasty chemicals. Aveeno, Johnson's and other "baby" products all contain chemicals that are known to be aggravating to eczema. I even went to TWO health food store trying to fin something ALL natural, and they couldn't help me. You can find California Baby at Publix and Target, or you can order online for products that may not be available in the store, or to order in bulk. I use the Super Sensitive hair and body wash on my boys, but California Baby has other hair products as well, including conditioner.

I have a 3 year old with baby fine hair, and I only use all natural products on her. The ones I've been happy with include:
Earth Mama Angel Baby Shampoo/Body Wash
Burt's Bees Volumizing Conditioner (this one is actually for adults)
California Baby Calming Conditioner
Noodle & Boo Conditioning Polish

I am still searching for the ideal styling product: all natural, and won't weigh her hair down but keeps it from being so flyaway. The conditioners really help though, in terms of how dry it seems and also how flyaway it gets. I do like Dr. Bronners All-One Magic Organic Leave-In Hair Creme, but I have to use just the tiniest amount or it's too heavy for her and makes it look greasy. Perfect for my thick curly hair though!

my now 8 yr old used to have severe eczema to the point the dr had us try selsem(sp) blue nothing worked. i used all kids shampoos with little success it wasn't until she got lice at school that i found the perfect treatment for her hair. olive oil. it works like a hot oil conditioner but washes out very easily. also the after having left it in for an hr or so and then using the fine metal combs for lice/nit removal it got rid of the scabs in her head without the bleeding and pain and no more issues since. she still has some dandruff but nothing severe and no scabs. that being said i refuse to use lice shampoo because of all the chemicals and they seem to constantly misdiagnose dandruff with nits. so anytime they get lice or nits i grab the olive oil. takes a lil more work over all but much safer than the heavy chemicals and lice can become immune to chemicals. i would say just apply some olive oil to her hair and let it sit for about an hr then rinse in running water. if it still looks a lil greasy then rewash and rinse. when it thru it will be so soft and silky.

You should be using oatmeal based products on your daughter because of her eczema. My nephew had it bad when he was a baby until he was about 11 years old. Then it pretty much cleared up on it's own. Never use soap or regular shampoo on her. It will make it worse. My sister in law used special shampoo and soap for eczema...Oatmeal based products. You can find them in the special section in Walmart. I am sure other stores carry them too.

Check out www.californiababy.com. My daughter has eczema and these products have been a life saver! I also use the Botanical Moisturizing Cream (just a dab) in my son's hair. His hair is curly and tends to get a little crazy. This keeps it from getting big and frizzy.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "products". Are you referring to simply shampoos and conditioners, or other things?
My daughter, too, has very fine hair. And it is quite long. It is getting a little less fine as she ages (she's 8 yrs now), but still very fine compared to most children. Mine was the same way. I found that generally speaking, the "kid" stuff (Johnsons, suave, etc - any of the ones that are in the cute animal/fruity/colorful bottles with "fun" names) are much harsher than adult shampoos. The only "upside" to them is that they supposedly don't sting if it gets in their eyes. My kids don't usually get it in their eyes, so I stopped spending the extra $$ on "kids" shampoos and started using what I buy for myself... usually one of the 'Aussie' varieties, or Dove. They make formulations for fine hair. It is a must to condition after shampooing, in order to get out tangles without breaking/pulling out her hair (not to mention the pain of it). Also, try not to shampoo every day. The scalp releases MORE oils the more often it is shampooed.
Hope this helps!

I am not from India, but I heard the trick they use to let the baby to have strong hair is using ginger. let crushed ginger boiled in the water over the stove for 20 or 30 minutes, until the water turns yellow. Cool it down and then massage the water into the scalp by using a spray bottle or something.

I am trying it now for my self, but I have to be careful not let the water into the eyes by wraping a towel around my hair line. I feel the slight burning sensation after applying the water on mine scalp, and sincerely hope it works in 2 or 3 months.
