I've researched it and found that they have been fasly advertising that Oprah and Dr. Oz endorse their product. I wouldn't touch it if I were you. It gives a feel of fen-phen.

Please try Mona-Vie acai juice blends. It is a higher quality than the pill forms, and contains the pulp (which has the added benefits of Omega 3 fatty acids and Essential Amino Acids), in addition to the freeze dried form (which is all you get in the pills). You don't have to swallow a bunch of pills, and most people feel the juice with the first shot. The other problem with pill form is absorbance. Much of what is in the pill is flushed down the toilet. If you consume 3 oz. of Mona-Vie daily, it has the nutritional equivalent of 13 servings of fruits and vegetables. I have lost 16 lbs, since January 1st and my Husband has lost 20. My energy is through the roof and I have never felt better or more willing to work out. My appetite was affected with the first shot. My Husband and I are so excited about the product that we decided to be distributors, so please check out our website at www.mymonavie.com/bjhiller. I will be happy to have you over for a free tasting. My contact info is on the site.

I can tell you that the product works but do not order it from the internet. They are all scams and will charge your credit card extra monies that you do not agree to have them charge. They will not refund the money for you. If you try it just buy it from the store and good luck.

I tried the "as seen on tv" AciBurn, and colon cleanser, and nothing. No luck at all, I couldn't tell a difference what-so-ever. Don't waist your money.

I tried it and it didn't do a thing for me. They also billed my credit card for the full amount and it was supposed to be just $4.95 for the delivery fee. Please don't waist your money on this stuff. S.

I tried and am currently taking Pure Acai Berry pro and total cleanse since Jan. I can't say i've lost more than 5 pounds. However, after about 5 days of the Acai berry in my system, my appetite decreased alot and overall my stomach is flatter! I wore a wrap dress recently and I could really tell a difference. I gave myself 3 months and I'm in month 2 now. The offer I responded to was free product, and I paid 4.95 s&H. BUT, I called within the 14 days and pretended to cancel the renewal, which would have been 68.00, and the man said he could take the price down to 38.00, however, my co-worker called and got her price down to $28.00 for as long as she kept renewing. I did cancel the total cleanse, b/c when I tried the same trick (it's a different company)the guy didn't offer me a discount, and a friend got a comperable product at Wholefoods, so I'm going that route now. Be sure to keep your receipt that comes with your order so they can easily find your order when or if you call to cancel. I hope that helps. D.

Also as an added footnote (and my experience) - if you find a site online offereing a "free trial" - make sure you read the small print (I didn't) - because they will automatically ship out a shipment and charge you for it !!

I actually received my "free trial" along with the first order for which I was charged $45.00

p.s. - I noticed no difference -
it was the pill form - I think it was Pure Acai!

I don't take supplements like that but I have been approached by the MLM'rs of Monavie.

I personally think it is a fad and in the beginning stages I am sure there is some $$ to be made off acai due to the news.

I know not ALL MLM'rs are the same but I was completely turned off due to high pressure to have me come to a tasting/presentation. I, along with about 5 other moms, ceased ALL contact with the mom who was pushing this to us (and our children if the kids visited). Needless to say....my child does not go to that house anymore either.

It just seems to me, if something is so great...it does not have to be a high pressure sale. We've bought the juices at Sprouts and Market Street and were not that crazy about them.

Just my opinion.....Certainly NOT to offend any mlm'r here. The person I am talking about is not on this site.

I take mona vie--the bottled kind. I do it for the nutrition, not the weight loss. It is pretty wonderful stuff. I can't afford 3oz a day, though. I try to take 1oz a day. It just makes me feel better. I'm not sure I buy into the weight loss stuff, but it definitely has made me feel better and have more energy. My brother also takes it (he is a doctor) and he says he has less joint pain and thinks it is wonderful stuff. But to use it as a weight loss supplement? I think not.

I am not sure about AcaiBurn, but I tried Acai Berry edge & it sucks. Didn't do a darn thing for me, no weight loss & a ton of gas - TMI! Plus, this company automatically starts billing you for new shipments, tells you that you can return it by a certain date, but it hasn't even been delivered yet! What a pain! I guess the old standby is true - diet & exercise - no magic pill! Which stinks!
