Was it Ratatouille - the Disney/Pixar film? If so, great family movie for all ages. See link http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/animatedfilms/ratatouille/

My kids, 2 & 4 liked it, but I thought it was a little long for a kids movie. It was worth it. Definitely a great family movie!

I'm a grandma who liked the movie "Ratatouille" because I like to cook and it was something my grandkids and I could enjoy together. I use www.Dove.org as one of my best sources for checking out movies to make sure they aren't offensive. This site lets you know this movie is about friendship, family and following your dreams. Check it out when you get a chance.

Grandchildren are wonderful! I'm expecting numbers 4 and 5! God bless, N.

I haven't seen the movie but a good site to review movies (because everyone sees things differently) is http://www.kids-in-mind.com/ They tell you every little negative thing in the movie so you can decide if you really want to show it to your child. I use this every time I check into getting a movie for my children.

I think you may mean Ratitouille, it's a disney Pixar movie. It's a good movie I got it for my 9 year old little brother and one for my family. It's a cute movie I think it's more for like 4 and up, the smaller kids tend to lose intrest quickly (lol). Good luck

My children are 4 and 8 and we saw this movie when it came out on DVD...we liked it although they now tell me it was a little sad (not wanting to give anything away but it has to do with friendship). But otherwise I thought it was a cute story! You can check out reviews of movies at a website I really like kids-in-mind.com--it is as it says--reviews with kids in mind. HTH!

Hi I've never heard of Rattitude but maybe the name of the movie was "Ratatouille" Its a movie about a rat...It's pretty cute. My dd and son watched it when it came out on dvd last year. I'd say the only "negative"(at least for me) my daughter picked up on is that "anyone can cook" Gosh now she thinks she's a 4yo chef Making things all the time..i gotta keep my ears open for the sound of the fridge opening all the time cuz she constantly making something for her little brother. Other than that, i like the movie and so do my kids.

She may have been talking about "Ratatouille" (rah-ta-too-ee). It's a very cute movie. Both of my kids liked it. They are ages 8 and 4. I believe it's rated G.

We love it! There is a scene in the beginning with an old lady and a shotgun (she's trying to shoot the rats). No one gets hurt, though. There is one other scene where the father shows his son some dead rats to try to illustrate how humans see rats... but we've had no issues with it. My kids are 4 and 6, and it is one of our favorites!

My son and daughter in law saw this with my grandkids- age 3 and 7. Everyone loved it. It is for the whole family. However, I think the youngest child who would enjoy it would be three , or four years old. I love to see kids movies with the grandkids. I still watch "girl " movies with my daughter -age 26. I have not seen this one , but would like to. J. K.

It is called "Rattitollie". It is perfect for all ages and is very romantic and sweet for adults too. Rent it and watch it for yourself first if you are not sure.

I think that one is the mouse that is a chef. I went to see it in the theaters. I dont remember if it was kid friendly or not. You could rent it and watch it. I recomend doing that if you are uncomfortable with most films for chrilden these days are kinda racy. Also do a search on line about the film. Best of luck.

I think she meant to say Ratatouille, but you know that's not easy for a young one to say. Ratatouille is a cute Disney and Pixar movie about a rat that loves to cook. It is a G movie and I would say any kid over 5 would appreciate it.

I know I'm a little late responding, but...Some of the other people mention the first scene with the shotgun. My 2 1/2 year old burst into tears during this scene and cried "turn it off!" which we promptly did, of course. You don't mention how old your grandkids are, but just wanted to warn you. With that said, my husband and I watched it later and it's very cute for slightly older children.

Ratatouille is a great movie, BUT I was surprised that there was an opening scene with a shotgun, that was scary and a bit much for a G film. I wouldn't take my three year old to it, but a 6 or 7 yr.-old probably.

For any movie or book, go to a website called Common Sense Media. You get reviews, lots of info about content, and even children's reviews saying if they liked it or not. We use this resource alot with our 7 year old before checking out the graphic novels he likes so much from the library.

One issue to know about: towards the beginning, there IS one scene where our rat hero is separated from his family in a pretty dramatic flooding-sewer scene. Everyone survives, but it might be kind of scary for the very young first-time viewer.

I thought the movie was great. The animation is fabulous, the characters are very endearing. And the story is just fun. I would recommend seeing it.
