Baby Names... Yes, I'm Bored. :)

Hi Ladies.

It's Friday, and I'm bored senseless at work. Do I have work to do? Of course! But man it's hard to focus on Friday before a holiday weekend! Anyhow, I just wanted to post a question to keep me from falling asleep at my desk.

Thinking about baby names. I know we have a LOT of time yet, but...

For a boy, we'd like a one syllable name that does not start with L (we don't want a double L name), or end with an L sound, as that wouldn't work with the last name starting with "L"...

Also interested in girls names that would sound pretty with the middle name "L.." :)

Suggestions?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

If anyone's curious, I think it's a boy. :) But I thought my son was a girl, so.... LOL

Grandma T - Sarah is actually one of the names I really like! But Sarah L., not so much, huh? LOL

My favorite boy's name is Darcy (Pride and Prejudice) ,

Don't really have a favorite girls name but I do like names like Willow, River, Skye, Dakota, (my sister took the name Dakota from me to name her daughter, and now her nick name is Kodi).

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU'R HAVING FIRST!! Lord, you're only 9 weeks and it's KILLING me ;)

I'm huge with family names. Do you have a special aunt or uncle or grandparent you'd like to share their namesake with your baby?

My favorites today: Riot for a boy (Roman should have been Riot!!) and Meadow for a girl (Roman WOULD have been Meadow, if he was a she)

;)

I feel the same way about the holiday weekend.. So much work to do, but my brain wants a break. ;)

Congrats on a little one (coming soon). :)

For boy names- (I just went through the alphabet thinking of one-syllable versions of names.........none are too original) ;)
Bryce, Chris, Doug, Hank, Jack, John, Joe, Mike, Noel, Pete, Rick, Sam, Tom, Vince, Vin, or Vic, Walt,

For girl names-
Anna L. (I think I thought of one because of the poem, "Annabelle L." by Edgar Allen Poe) Ha ha...
Caitlyn L.
Katy L.
Marissa L.
I think lots of girl names would work with L. (especially 2 syllable names?)

Good luck! And- congrats!
