I am expecting my fourth baby and I am interested in purchasing a baby sling or wrap. I am busty so I am concerned about fit and the how easy they are to put on. Could you please give me some reviews on slings or wraps that you have you. Thank you so much!

I LOVE the Maya wrap. You have to work with any sling a bit to get used to it. I have used a Maya Wrap and a Mei Tai. The Mai Tai is good for a bigger child. I felt like at 9-10 months it was easier than the Maya Wrap, but I was able to make my own Mei Tai. I found instructional video to use it on youtube. If you know anyone that has one, borrow it and try it out with a doll. Good luck!

I had the same concern about finding a baby sling that didn't feel too tight and constraining around my chest. I found the Balboa Baby Adjustable Sling and I'm so thankful I did! It's fully adjustable so as my body changed post-pregnancy and as my baby grows I can change the size so it fits perfectly. The Balboa Sling also has this great padded back strap that makes it super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The best thing about this sling is that I feel like my baby is safe and secure in the deep pocket. The elastic trim makes using this sling a breeze. Plus the prints they have are so cute! http://balboababy.com/

I'm very busty as well, and I used a Maya wrap without any problems. I love how comfortable it is! If you can sew, they even have a pattern on their website - www.mayawrap.com - or they have a "used" section with cheaper options. (Mainly returns that have nothing wrong with them, they just can't be sold as "new".)

Congratulations on your baby!

I have a hotsling. Love it because it is quick to slip on and off. The wraps are nice so you can position the baby differently but they take longer to get baby in and out. I actually have both so I can choose. =)

Congrats! I used the Baby Bjorn. Thought it was comfortable and my husband even used it too.

Well I can't recomend any brands but do watch out for the material it is made of. I had a sling that was for newborns only and trying to walk around in the summer with it was horrible. My daughter got way to hot in it and it really hurt my back a lot. I'm very busty myself so it was a little uncomfortable on the chest. So do try them on with a doll before you buy it. I wish I had.

I have four wraps/slings for my 5 month old son - two hotslings (sizes 5 and 6), one baby carrier simliar to a Bjorn but from Target so much cheaper and a Moby. Honestly, I like the one from target the best because it's the easiest and most comfortable. The MOby is also very comfortable but I feel like it's so long and therefore, not very easy to get on FAST!! I would think any of those would suit a busy woman!!

If you are interested in purchasing a hotsling or Moby, I will give you a great discount from the prices you will find online! I currently have them on craigslist! The hotslings are all 2 years old and used maybe 5x a piece and the Moby is 5 months old (Indigo Blue) and used 5x. Send me a note if you are interested and I can send pics and pricing!

If not, good luck finding a sling!!

On a different topic - can I ask you about having three children? I have two - a 2.5 year old daughter and 5 month old son and it's SOOO much work! Hubby works nights so I'm alone Mon-Fri so that makes it harder!! When you had a third, do you feel like it was more work than when you had your 2nd or less becuase the older two could play together? Just wondering...we always wanted four kids but the more I think about it, the more I am reconsidering!!

Good for you! Babywearing is awesome! I haven't done it as much as I'd like to yet, so I'm still learning, but it's really important to do your research. I have a basic ring sling, and love it. The only one listed below that I would not recommend is the baby Bjorn. The way it holds the baby it puts incorrect pressure on their hips, and for boys, their genitals. I'd recommend contacting www.babysosmart.com to find out important information about what to look out for when shopping for slings. The Infantino ones have caused deaths but haven't been recalled. The woman who has the Baby So Smart line is a pediatric nurse and has a lot of great information. Good luck!

I am a big fan of slings, I have six. I have three ring slings (one is for the water), two wrap slings and a pocket sling. I would like to have a mei tai some time. I do not like the pocket sling at all. My Maya wrap was my first and is still my favorite, but the wraps are great for longer distances and/or sleeping babies. Anyway, I wanted to suggest checking out wearyourbaby.com They have instructions on wearing them, making them and would give you a good idea of your options. I made one of my wraps and the other is a moby, they're both great. my two ring slings I like best are both maya wraps. The other thing you might want to do is go over to happybottomus in Lee's Summit and check out their slings, even if they're a bit more pricey, you may get a better idea of what you would like.

I have a Moby wrap which I just love using! The first few times I used it I would refer to the instructions, just to make sure I did it right. But after that it was awesome! http://www.mobywrap.com/
