Baby Wipes

Good Morning, I do childcare in my home and I provide the baby wipes. I have used the Kirkland Signature brand for years and I've always really liked them. I recently bought a new case of the wipes and these smell really bad as far as I'm concerned.

My Questions:

1. What brand of wipes do you use? The Kirkland wipes say they are unscented. I'm not looking for an overly scented product, in fact no scent would be fine, I just can't stand the stinky.

2. Do you think there is anything I could sprinkle, spray on the wipes to make them smell better? They smell sour to me, kind of like when your dish rag starts to smell.

Thank you,

M.

Kirkland, no smell. I would take them back. Costco is fantastic about taking back anything you are unhappy with. There may be something wrong with the case you just got.

I would take them back if they smell.

I don't have any babies at home but I LOVE the Kirkland wipes and I use them for all type of things. I have never noticed any scent. I do think if it is a sour smelling scent, I would exchange them.

Ugh, don't use them. Take them back. If it's sour-smelling, something may have gone acidic and you definitely don't want to put something acid on their little bottoms.

When I bought them, I bought either Kirkland or the Walmart brand. Every now and then I bought Pampers brand, but didn't really see any difference

If you bought the stinky ones from Costco, take them back. They have an easy return policy.

Return the wipes and get a new box. It's not worth having those babies have a reaction to something on the wipes.

I used all sorts from Huggies, Pampers to store brand.

You need to take them back. Any foul smell is NOT good.

Even though I don't have young kids that use wipes? I use the Huggies Natural Care - I keep the travel pack in my purse to wipe hands and faces...

I also keep them a pull-up style box/container in each bathroom.

I would NOT EVER EVER EVER use a foul smelling wipe. EVER. Take them back.

Take them back to the store and tell them they are soured. They could have a hole in them that is microscopic and got bacteria in them.

We use Walmart's brand unscented and they're fine.

I would take them back. Any kind of change without something noted can be a sign of bad wipes.

if you've used kirkland for years and this ONE case is off, why on earth don't you just return it?
if you habitually use unscented wipes (sensible), why do you want to artificially scent wipes that are apparently tainted?
quelle bizarro.
