My six month old DD is a little squirmer in the bathtub we have. Its a large "euro" tub and I'm always worrying about her head hitting the plastic of the tub. Any favorite bath tubs all you moms would recommend?..Thank you!

When my daughter was around the same age I wanted something that would help the transition from baby tub to regular tub. I ended up buying an inflatable duck tub from Target for $10 and it worked perfectly. I just filled it and put it in the regular tub. It kept her in one place and she couldn't tip over and hit her head. I used it until she was about 11 or 12 months, I think. At that point she was ready for the regular tub.

My daughter bought a small blow-up pool for my grandson (now 15 mon. old). He is very active in the tub, and we want him to feel free, without being in any danger. For younger ones a large thirsty towel can be helpful to prop them up and free up your hands. Suction on the bottom also allows it to stick to the wall untill dry. Last but not least, next summer your toddler can have their own pool at the beach (works much better than trying to manage them in those low crashing waves. Good luck.. bath time should be a fun time for parents as well children. R.

By 6 months my son was in a bath chair, where he could sit up in the regular bathtub. It had a piece that hooked onto the side of the tub. He was in that until he was a little over a year and sturdy enough to stand on his own.

I used an inflatable tub for my little sqirmer. I put it in the big tub, which meant no worrying about splashing water, but it was safe for him to sit in and play. Also - filling a little tub rather than the big one used a lot less water. Go Green!

I love the Munchkin Duck Bathtub. It is a inflatable duck tub that fits in the bathtub. It also has a temp safety disc on the bottom of it that tells you if the water is too hot. My little guy loved it and used it until he was 10 months old.

If you're worried about her smacking her head, I HIGHLY recommend the blow-up tubs. Babies r' Us has one in the shape of a duck, I believe. They are in expensive, soft on the noggin...and even work great for corralling non-crawling, squirming babies (w/o water!) so you can brush your teeth in the morning. Heh.

We used a small inflatable tub that goes into the big bathtub for my first son.
Once they could sit up, the 2nd and 3rd children just bathed quickly with the older ones in the big bath while I held them.

I had gotten this sling back kinda hammock seat that went in the tub - it had a metal frame w/almost a small hole mesh fabric & it made giving my girls a bath so easy. I'll look online later (have to get 11 yr old out the door for school) & see if i can find a picture for u!
