Does anyone know a good way to boost our fertility while we wait for January and an answer for his job status to arrive? I dont want anything with medication I just want something organic I can do for my body. I have already ditched the pop. ( now to stop the morning coffee and smoking!). I am still taking prenatal vitamins.... What else can I be doing for my body to help?

What can I do next?

I've heard of people taking chasteberry. But if you aren't yet trying to conceive and you have no indication that you will have problems when the time comes, I wouldn't worry about taking anything herbal.

No alcohol. Moderate exercise.

Not so much about boosting fertility - but stop being consumed with getting pregnant will help your body..

Folic Acid intake is good too...http://www.livestrong.com/article/378433-the-best-foods-f...

If you are overweight - start working out - drinking plenty of water....

GOOD FOR YOU for ditching soda!! it's hard to drop!!!

Talk with your OB/GYN about any problems he/she might think you have...there are people who have problems conceiving the second time around - or even the third...it took me 4 years with my husband...(my daughter was 12 when we started trying).

I would focus on conquering the smoking habit first, but also really working on exercising more and making healthy eating choices. My husband and I started our family in our mid to late thirties. We were TTC for 9 months. We did do some fertility treatments to no avail, but I sincerely think what did it for us, was we stopped for awhile. We got our minds on other hobbies and tried to be as healthy as possible. It wasn't long after that that we were pregnant. No fertility help needed!
I would also suggest getting a digital fertility monitor. We used one when trying for our second child and got pregnant in two months of trying! Really takes all the guess work out of TTC. Good luck!

I read a study that low fat yogurt showed links to reduced fertility. I don't remember the particulars but I remember it because I was eating it almost every day and it was taking me awhile to get pregnant.
