Does anyone know of a children’s shoe store other than Stride Rite? My sweet daughter has double extra wide feet and Stride Rite doesn’t carry her size. She has been wearing Mooshu Trainers, but since we moved to the area I can’t seem to find a store that carries more than one or two styles of this brand. I would prefer somewhere in the North Dallas/McKinney area, but I am willing to go wherever needed to find her shoes that fit well. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Nordstrom has a great kids shoe dept. Also try Clarks in Stonebrier. They are now selling kids shoes as well.
My daughter is a shoe-a-holic. She likes the shoes at Famous Footwear. Also we learned that Famous Footwear will order the shoes at wider sizes. My son is an 11 wide. We just order and they send it to our house for no additional postage.
You may want to talk to another person at Stride Rite because they do carry XW..my son has extremely wide feet and we get all of his shoes there.

Try Nordstroms. They are known for their shoes and especailly their Large selection of sizes. If they don't have it they will try to get it. I would recommend the Galleria or Northpark as they will have a larger selection.

The Clark's store at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco. They carry from extra-extra narrow to extra-extra wide in kids shoes, and their prices aren't any more than what you'd spend at Stride Rite or Nordstroms. Since they are a European brand they are sized differently, but the associates are trained very well (I highly recommend Britt if she is there) and take extra care in measuring and fitting for a perfect fit. Can't Stride Rite order shoes for you. My son has an extra wide foot and they have always ordered shoes for me when they didn't have any. Also, go online and search your daughter's shoe size. There are tons of on-line shoe stores that might carry the shoe size.
Have you tried Nordstroms show department for children? they have lots of unique sizes for women I am thinking they may have the same for kids... Love their customer service and they have no hassle returns...

Nordstrom's has the best selection of children's shoes....and sometimes you can get lucky at Nordstrom Rack!!
Besides Stride Rite I found Zappos.com has a large selection of x wide. They deliver quickly and take back returns with no extra charge. For sneakers New Balance in Frisco has xxwide and a cute selection as well, they will order from a catalog as well at no extra cost. Sneakers are cheaper than Stride Rite.
