I was wondering how everyone cleans thier baby/kids toys. The ones that you can't submerge into soapy water.

What can I do next?

I use Dragonfly cleaner. It's a spray and safe to use on toys that go in the mouth. I searched for a little while to find this. There is also the seventh generation but I know it is organic but not sure if it's safe for toys. B. oh, you can find it at Shaw's.

I used the Clorox Everywhere Cleaner and it worked well. It was also easy to find, anywhere I shopped, and not too expensive. I've seen ads for Clorox's new line of non-chemical cleaners, but haven't used them. Probably worth trying if you don't want chemicals.

I just use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and a damp face cloth, Make sure you rinse it good with another cloth. It works great!

i have found a great all natural cleaner and another sanitizer, i usually spray a little of both on a papertowel or sponge and just wipe them down :-) I actually have called poison control for both of these products just to double check that they were safe should anything end up in anyone's mouth ;-) I use the same on the highchair trays, etc.!

Hi T.!!I use organic/all natural cleaning products in my home. When I became pregnant w/my son,I became more aware of the chemicals in my everyday cleaning products/laundry detergent and decided that isnt something I want to expose my family to.I got rid of all my products from my laundry detergent to my floor cleaners. My goal is to help other mama's provide a safe, clean,GREEN home.If you have any questions here is my cell-###-###-####.Or you can check out my website at www.shaklee.net/lola Take Care!!

Hi T. I too have a son named Evan, he is 18 months isn't that a wonderful name :) I clean his toys with an all natural cleaner but I'm sure you could wipe them down with a slightly damp rag and mild soap. I've heard that clorox anywhere cleaner is a mild cleaner as gentle as soap and water but I don't use any chemical cleaners in my house because of my oldest. You could probably try one of those clorox wipes or similar product too. Or you could see what your pediatricain recomends for a cleaner/disinfectant for these types of toys. Good Luck.
