I'm looking for a daddy/daughter class to sign up my husband and 9 month old daughter for. It would have to be on a weekend. We are in the Southwest Mpls area so looking for something nearby SW Mpls/Edina.
I take my daughter to Jungle Jamboree, an indoor play class. It's not exclusive to mom's or dads, but there are a lot of dads that come with their children. I've been taking my daughter since she was 10 months old (now 15 months) and she loves it.
Check online for ECFE (early child family education) classes in your neighborhood. They are ususally held at schools or parks, and I know that they have a "daddy and me" class. I'm not sure what the website is, but google it- I've looked at it before.
Also, no one is turned away if they can't afford it, because it is a public education course.
I went to a class when my son was 5 weeks old- the group leader was very smart and had answers to all of our questions. It is very worth it!
I teach Musikgarten which is an Early Childhood Music Curriculum. I live in South Minneapolis. My classes are for birth to age 5. I offer Baby, toddler and preschool aged classes as well as a mixed age group. I don't have anything going right now this summer, but would be willing to do a short summer class if you have a group of people that were interested.
