I know these aren't exactly Plainfield/Shorewood, but I know they're good dentist ....

1. Valley View Dental - They have offices in Romeoville (near Weber and 135th) and Plainfield (off 59, not sure the exact cross street)

2. Dental Dream, LLC - They have many locations in the Chicagoland area, but I think the closest one to you would be off Larkin in Joliet :)

Hi,

We go to Caton Crossing Dental Care (the whole family which includes two boys age 7 and almost 5). Have been going there for 8+ years. My boys and I always see the hygenist named Jana (love her-she's super nice). They are at corner of Rt 59 and Caton Farm Road(next to Fannie Mae) Good Luck. Their# is ###-###-####

one of my daycare families uses the dentist on 52 in Shorewood with the big giraffes in front of his office, just east of the dairy queen. They are really happy with him and the office.

I was a fearful patien....but am now not after finding Caton Crossing. Dr. Shindollar is excellent and Jana our hygentist is the sweetest. My son is almost four and was terrified to get his teeth cleaned (for no apparant reason) and I was not treated very well at Shorewood (with the giraffes). Jana is working with us to get my son comfortable at the doctors office by showing him around and letting me take him to our cleanings. Dr. Shindollar does everything in his power so that things don't hurt.

I had to take my 6 year old in for some serious dental work and we were shopping around for a dentist. I ended up at Plainfield Pediactric Dentristry (Dr. Tom). We did go to the place on 52 with the giraffes in the front, and they were very nice there too. I would probably go back there again. My advice is to take her to the dentist as often as possible and keep her gums clean. The biggest problem with my daughter was the sippy cup with milk sitting for more than 20 minutes. The dentist told me after 20 minutes dump it because milk start to break down and affects the teeth.
