I'm trying to decide what swing to buy for my baby. Is there any you really like? Why do you like it and what features does it have?

If I didn't get rid of mine at my last yard sale you can have it. I'll have to run to the other house to see if it's still there - let me know if you are interested. I'm in the NW but our other house is in Green Valley so before I make the trip....

I have/had the FisherPrice Aquarium cradle swing. My son loved the aquarium and the fish that circle around. And with it swinging like a cradle and like a swing, it was always soothing for him. I'd really suggest a cradle swing...especially for a coliky baby.

Good luck!

We bought the Fisher-Price Aquarium Cradle Swing. My son is 5 1/2 mos. old and still loves it. The swing actually swings front to back and then you can change it to swing side to side which has helped on those overtired nights. the chair part can be in a laid back position or sitting up straight. The music is pleasant, has volume control, and a few choices. I also like the mobile on the swing and the light. My son enjoys watching the fish and seeing the light change colors. I just really like the variety of things you can do with it. For example just have the music on without him swinging or swinging with just the mobile on. We do go through a lot of batteries but it seems like a lot of baby gear is that way. Hope this helps

I liked the Fisher Price Aquarium swing because it had bright fish that your baby will enjoy looking at as they swim past. It also in two directions from front to back and to side to side. This was nice if you wanted to mimic being rocked in mommy's arms or even to face the baby in a different direction for a different point of view.

I LOVED the Fisher Price Aquarium swing! It rocks back and forth or side ways + is lays down for when the baby is an infant or sits up as they get older and has a stronger neck. As a matter of fact I am about ready to pack mine up. My daughter is 7 months old and would rather play in her activity gym rather than sit and swing! The swing has been a LIFE SAVER on many occasions! I think the only draw back is the price for how long she used it. I would be willing to donate it to you if you are interested. It is still in brand new condition (4 months old) I bought it when she was just over 2 months old.

You can contact me at ____@____.com I would love to donate it to another baby rather than drop it off at the Goodwill.

Any swing that goes forwards and backwards as well as side to side is good. They usually have a button to push and you just turn the swing to the other direction. My daughter loved her swing and so did all of my friends that got the same type. It doesn't really matter what brand just as long as it goes in more than one direction and it should also be in a reclined position. Hope that helps!

I have an 11month old and I have the fisher price aquarium cradle swing. My son loves it. the mobile above the swing has little fish and what looks like a little aquarium that lights up. He loves watching the lights. I love how it swings two different ways. It is bright and colorful. I love it.
