Easy & Fun Cardio

Hi ladies! I was wondering if anyone had a favorite easy cardio DVD that you like to do at home? I know my mom does Richard Simmons but I can't stand to watch him. That being said, I do like the ease of his workouts. So I was hoping someone knew of something similar but without the annoyance factor. After having my second daughter last year I really need to get back in shape. However I have arthritis pretty bad in my feet, ankles, knees and hips which prevent me from doing anything high impact at the moment. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks Jaycee for suggesting Netflix. I don't know why that hadn't occurred to me before! I found several "Dance off the Inches" videos on there that I really liked. I would have kept using them on Netflix but of course they stopped being available after July 31st. So I ordered the ones I really liked on Amazon. While I haven't lost any weight I am feeling better and I am getting some of the definition back in my legs. I just have to modify some of the moves to fit my limitations. After doing these I'm not sure I could do Zumba. I think all the twisting and turning may be too much for my knees. Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!

Have you tried hula hooping? You can google "hooping" and get info on hula workouts.

I like Denise Austin dvd's because I used to be able to do them when the
baby napped (not much of a napper anymore).

I walk as often as a I can during the week.

I try to do a 30min plus walk by myself where I walk then run, walk then run.

I like Leslie Sansone's- Walk Away the Pounds. She has several different ones and some use light hand weights.

i love zumba and tae bo. modify the moves if there is too much impact. my zumba instructor always says to keep moving it doesn't matter if you do the move wrong just keep moving. there are many to try on netflix (streaming and on DVD) before you make the investment.

"Tae Bo" by Billy Blanks. But there is impact in this.
But even my kids like it.
Or the Jane Fonda workouts. She has low impact and it is not intimidating nor super hyper. I used these before. Liked it.
It does look dated, but exercise is exercise. And if you look on Amazon, you can see it and the reviews of it.

But, since you have arthritis, have you tried swimming? Is there a pool in your area?
Or try asking your Doctor, per your condition, what exercises would be appropriate.
Or try, a stationary bike.
Or an elliptical machine.
