I am sick...sore throat, achy, low grade fever and 8 weeks pregnant. I know they want u to avoid as much medicine as possible the first trimester but i also know a fever is bad. Which is worse? To leave a 99.9 fever or take tylenol? I am also on antibiotiics for GBSsnd i did find it weird that all my symptoms except sore throat startedimmediately after taking it. Thanks

What can I do next?

Tylenol is definetly ok! Had the same problem in my 1st trimester. Doctor said dont worry unless fever gets over 100.4 my got up to 101 and all the doctor had me do was take tylenol. Hope you feel better soon!

There's nothing wrong with taking Tylenol...no Advil or aspirin. I've gotten sick during two of my pregnancies and had to take antibiotics. There are certain medication that are okay. Check with your doctor.

My ob just gave me an approved medicine list, I am also 8 weeks. It says to take Tylenol or Tylenol ES.

Then it says, if the fever greater than 100.4 and is accompanied with stuffy nose, headache, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, then to call the Dr.
