There are so many wonderful private colleges in the Chicagoland area with terrific business schools: Loyola, DePaul, Northwestern, etc. As for Public Universities, Northern Illinois University has a good business school and has campuses in the suburban area (Naperville, Hoffman Estates, etc.) Also, University of Illinois has a campus in Chicago. You can't go wrong with an Undergraduate Degree in Business from any of the schools!

My husband rec'd his undergrad finance degree from DePaul. He is very happy with the education he rec'd although he did this while working full-time in the finance industry providing daily exposure to real life situations. I'd be happy to ask him specific questions on your behalf. If so, send me a personal message.

I got my MBA from DePaul and they have a great undergrad program. Pretty much any college will have a Finance Major, you just have to stick with the ones that have good reputations.

I would stay away from any online schools. They don't seem to have lots of credibility in the real world, at least according to the people I have talked to.
