My son was born premature in April and now that things have setteled down my husband and I are wanting to do his first professional photographs. I am looking for a place that does good photos and where you can get a decent number of pictures too. I can afford to spend a fortune, and was wondering if you moms had any suggestions for me. I know it may seem crazy that we have not yet done pics, but we have just been so busy with docotors appointments for him and for me that we hardly have time for ourselves. We have used Chubby Foot Photography since my son was born and I absolutely loved every set of pictures that we have gotten from her. She gives you a CD with all of the pictures and the rights to the pictures, so you can print any that you want, whenever you want. Her price is $350 - $400, but it is well worth it!

We love Portrait Innovations in the Champions area. You can get a whole package of pictures (only one pose) for only $9.95. We usually go overboard and spend around $100 - $120 and get more than we can use or mail out! The photographers are very patient and will keep trying until they get a ton of good shots. I don't remember their number, but check them out online.
We were using JCPenney photography, but Portrait Innovations is much better! Good Luck!

I am not sure exactly where you live but there are two places I know of that do great pictures. Once place is Kiddie Kandids located in Babies R' Us. I had my son's first pictures done there and they came out great. I was able to do multiple outfits and poses. Their packages are super reasonable & you get the pictures back very quickly! The other place is Photo Innovations in the Champions area. They take really great photos as well and their prices are very reasonable.

I second portrait innovations. You can spend as little as $10 for a ton of pictures (1 pose) or you can spend as much as you want a buy as many poses as you want but will still get the big $10 package.
I have had terrible times at places like Sears and Pennies walking out without buying a single pictures. There photographers are not trained well and really are just looking for a job instead of being passionate well studied photographers.

There are a lot of different places to go but I happened to like JC Penny for these early baby pictures. If you go to the website, you can find a coupon for a free sitting and then a special price on the pictures. We took my little one there for pictures at 6 months and then again at 1 year. They turned out very nicely.
I had wanted to get some of those really artsy pictures done but was hesitant to spend so much money on pictures when I didn't know how my little guy would react to the photographer.

Portrait innovations is the best place I've found. They have a great special for a bunch of pictures for $9.95 (see the link). They also take tons of pictures and if you buy 3 poses you get all the pictures on CD. I really reccomend them.

Hi there. i have the perfect company for you. They are called "Our 365 portraits". You can find them on the web. They are the best, b/c they are not over priced, but they come to your house. It takes about an hour and you can have up to 5 people in the picture. They take lots of poses and about three different outfits. I have used them three times now, because it's so much easier for us to keep our daughter at home, not having to pack up her world and treck to the mall, plus she's always in a better mood, b/c she stays in her familiar surroundings so we end up with great pictures.
