Any great ideas for one main gift for a 3 year old girl? We are doing one gift per child this year! LOVE IT!

Thanks for any ideas!

What can I do next?

What kind of things does she like?
The Disney Princess Royal Talking kitchen is cute! ($39.99 on sale at toysrus.com) A bike, scooter, or the Disney Princess Art Table and Stool Set would be good too. I guess it depends on if she likes this sort of thing. My middle child would not like anything Disney Princess, but my oldest and youngest love it!

Price range? Your kid?
Mom got my daughter an art easel last year. That was a great big gift. But we don't do gifts that are worth hundreds of dollars, and some people do.
Toy kitchen? Doll house? table & chairs? stroller & doll? Those are things my three year old loves.
It really depends on interest and space in your house. This year the main thing we need is something to organize her existing toys!
Another idea is to get a small physical gift for now and spend the bulk of the money toward a future need. I'm a big fan of this for little kids. Give her a $20 gift she'll like so she has something under the tree, and put the rest toward college, or for example, her brother & SIL are doing an "add a pearl" necklace. That way, rather than some random piece of junk she won't remember, she'll get something of real value that has built up over the yeasr.

My 'hands down' recommendation for either 2yos or 3yos is the PlasmaCar. BEST 'ride it' toy EVER (and at age 9, still in almost daily use). Indoors, outdoors... the thing is phenom. Supports adult weight, but isn't as agile at that weight. If it's primarilly to be an indoor toy OR IF YOU HAVE TILE AT ALL... get a bike shop to put rollerblade wheels on instead of stock wheels. Makes it soooooo much quieter! We started requiring helmets at age 3 after a year of use when the neighborhood kids discovered hills.

Agile. Sturdy. STABLE. (we've had fewer than 5 spills in 6 years with over 40 kids using them daily from ages 2-9... and those were kids *trying* to spill them. As opposed to the skateboards, trikes, bikes, etc., where there's almost one spill a day)

Leapster explorer. Learning gift. Portable. Grandparents/ family can find and buy games that ship easily. Can get additional games easily for future holidays. My boys (5 and 3 yr olds) each have one and I can't say enough good things about them. The boys LOVE them. The games are engaging. They learn TONS. Pricey but TOTALLY WORTH IT. (would recommend getting the AC adapter. The games are so popular in our house that we went through LOTS of batteries. The games don't go through batteries unusually quickly, they just got LOTS of play time.)

A box of dress up clothes. Dresses, purses, cheap jewelry. You can find all at a thrift store.

Why are you doing 1 gift? You may love it but kids like getting multiple gifts. What if she doesn't like it? Are you referring to Christmas? Do you have like 10 kids or something? How about you ask her what she wants?
