Don't laugh, I discovered Ebay for most of my cosmetic needs. I am also a Clinique makeup user and I use Lancome moisterizer. Not all colors, but I find it to be less expensive because I am also on a budget. I read the feedbacks from the sellers and I always compare the item and it's description to the container I have in my hand. Sometimes, for fun, I'll try new colors. The hardest thing I have found is finding my cover up in the Pale. So, for that, I'll go to StrawberryNET.com, which will ship it for free from over seas. Always fresh, no problems ever. I usually get my Lancome moisterizer (Renegie) for approximately $30 for a big container...where as in the Department stores, it easily sells for over $75.00. I used to use (at one time or other) all 3 of the brands you had listed. However, I just started my own home based business (along with owning a title insurance company and having 2 children, ages 5 and 3). Hello Veronica! I have used Clinque for the past 10 years or so and love it. It's good quality and selection of colors, they often do specials with cool totes and other cool stuff, and they are the cheapest of the expensive brands! I have also found they offer great customer service wherever I've gone and being a military wife I've shopped for Clinque all over the country. All in all, I'm very happy with the product and how my face looks each and every day (well, most days LOL).

I personally use Aveda or Origins, both are made with natural ingredients and carry several items organically made, if you are into organic. Aveda products are also made with packaging safe for the environment. I used to use Clinique which is also good, but I found that I really like how Aveda and Origins keep my face looking great. They sell these products at the Florida Mall in Orlando or if you live in the Melbourne area you can purchase Aveda at any Aveda Concept Salon and of course online.

I LOVE Merle Norman cosmetics. Pricy, yes, but well worth it. I don't think it sells in malls. There are individual stores. I'm sure there are some in the Orlando area that you can find if you visit the website.
I highly recommend it.
Neutrogena is good quality. You can certainly pay more if you want to pay for the name. My dermatologist and my allergist both recommended it. I used to use Lancome but too many preservatives caused problems. Be careful about using Arbonne' They claim to be all natural but if you can get the distributor to actually show you the ingredients they carry formaldehyde based preservatives like diazolydinal urea, etc.
I also use and love bareminerals for foundation and blush. Before buying it though, I recommend someone at Sephora or Ulta put it on you and that you keep it on for the day before buying it as not everyone likes it.
The mascara I use is Dior Show and the eyeshadow I am currently using and love is Laura Mercier. I also really like the Vincent Longo lip gloss.
mac and nyx cosmetics are the best. as for skin care clinique is one of the best.
I agree with the arbonne consultant. Arbonne is the best and it is all natural. I love it, love it, love it. Best thing, if you don't like it, you can get a full refund. Go to Arbonne.com to find a local consultant--or do what I did and pay a yearly $35 fee to be a consultant (buy for yourself-you don't need to sell if you don't want to) and you get 35% off everything you buy. They also have the best anti-aging line. I am 28 and I use it and love it.
I personally prefer Clinique (of those 3 brands) because it is lightweight and feels clean and not too heavy. I started using the ID Bare Essentuals mineral makeup (sold at Ulta) about a year ago and LOVE it. I don't usually have more than 5 or 6 minutes to get "made up" during the day, so it's great for me. The best suggestion I have is to go for a free color session at a few of the department store cosmetics counters and see which brand you look and feel best in.

I frequent a website called "makeupalley.com". Its great. Its a user rated webpage. Low end to high end it rates it all.
One of my HG (holy grail...you'll learn more of these abbreviations once you get into makeup alley!) is MAC concealer. The one with the three shades. Its great, worth every $20!

I love Clinique & Lancome..... I love Clinique's foundations & Powders, their liglosses & listicks have great staying power too! I have found that out of all the brands of eyeshadow that I have tried, Lancome is the easiest to blend and the colors are very versatile! Estee Lauder I think, their products are over rated. I also use a lot of MAC Cosmetics because of the color variety. I work full time so I like to be well put together for work... I am also like you were the cheaper brands tend to irritate my skin and aren't even worth me buying! You could even try looking up a Mary Kay consultant in your area (they offer personalised service), they come to your home and do color matches for your specific skin type (I have used them for a little while too).

Hi, I use Bare Esentuals, Mineral Foundation. It is all natural and I love that I can control the coverage by applying more or less. It is in a powder form but covers like a liquid foundation. I have used many name brand products and find that Bare Esentuals feels the most natural ( as if I am not wearing any make-up at all). I buy it a Saphora but I beleive they have a website.

When purchasing your products become a label reader. We do this with the food we buy why not with the personal care products we put on our bodies. The #1 ingredent to look out for is MINERAL OIL!! While it sounds great for us it is very bad!! Picture it being the platic wrap that we use to cover our food with so moisture does not get in or anything come out of it. So if you purchase an $85 product or a $10 product that has this as one of the top 5 ingredents, basically anything that is claimed that is good for you in it you'll never see the benefits from because mineral oil will not allow it to penetrate. Mineral Oil is in 95% of the over the counter personal care products out there... it is basically refined car oil that they have processed so much, made it clear and sell it to most of the companies out there because it is cheap. Another common name for it is PETROLUM OR PETROLATUM.
Personally I use Arbonne International because they pride themselves on PURE, SAFE and BENEFICIAL products that are result driven for the entire family. Their Make Up line I have found it to be the best! They are constantly updating their colors and as for it staying on... I can go the entire day and not do a touch up. Hi there! I know you believe in better quality make-up, but I don't think you have to go for the high-priced brands to get it. I use Almay and Sonia Kashuk religiously and in my opinion, the products are just as good. In fact, when I was pregnant I tried just about every facial system out there, including Clinique and Estee Lauder. The only thing that worked for me, and continues to work extremely well is the Almay cleanser, toner and moisturizer. And the best thing is that it's found at any Target and is pretty reasonable when compared with the stuff you find at the make-up counters in the mall.

I used to only use Clinique because I have very sensitive skin, but, about six years ago I discovered Mary Kay (my sister started working fgor them and I wanted to help her out a bit). Well, now, I cannot live without my Mary Kay make up or my Mary Kay rep! I have not had any problems with my skin since I have been using Mary Kay. That, along with the fact that I can call my rep anytime and she will meet me or bring me or even mail me what I need is why I cannot imagine using anything else! Good luck!
