Holistic Doctor Recommendation

I'm looking for a recommendation for a holistic doctor. I live in the Lewisville area, but I will travel further if the doctor is really good. I'm looking to possibly detox my body. I've been dealing with hormonal issues and fatigue. I'm thinking it's related to candida overgrowth. Anyways, if anyone can recommend a good doctor that they know has dealt with these situations please let me know!

What can I do next?

I highly recommend Trinity Wellness Center in Highland Village. They do chiropractic work, acupuncture and acu-pro.

I don't know how far you're willing to drive, but Dr Joseph McWherter in Fort Worth is very good. He is an OB/Gyn by training but has made himself a good reputation in the area with his work with natural hormone balancing. I think if you google his name you can find out more.

Idemudia Smart is in Lewisville and is very, very knowledgeable on Detox:

Just don't expect him to consider thyroid problems, for which many, many, many people go undiagnosed and blame it on toxins or just plain ole motherhood and aging. Also, as I've said in many other posts, autoimmune thyroid disease is very commonly triggered by childbirth.

He mostly does I/V based, so if you want someone that will help you do some of it using herbals/supplements Margaret Christensen: www.christensencenter.com is your best bet. She's in Dallas, but my experience with other Lewisville/FM doctors was worse than bad.
Dr. Christensen, per her website has regularly classes on detox - educating yourself is the most important step of the process.

Hi C.,

If you're dealing with fatigue and hormonal issues, it's likely that your body is out of balance. My husband and I ordered an incredible book off Amazon titled Adaptogens: Herbs for Strength, Stamina, and Stress Relief by Winston and Maimes. It is fascinating. From the book "There is a category of herbs called adaptogens that help the human body adapt to stress, support normal metabolic processes, and restore balance. They increase the body's resistance to physical, biological, emotional, and environmental stressors and promote normal physiologic function".

The 10 most potent adaptogens on the earth, with the highest therapeutic properties available, are now delievered in a fast acting oral spray, called Tunguska Mist. Go to www.VitalHealth.TunguskaMist.com to learn more.

The Tunguska Mist Pure will help reduce the negative effects of stress on your body (weakened immune system, decreased energy, mood swings, short temper, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and diffulculty sleeping), and help restore balance, or homeostasis. They taste great and have made such a difference for our family. I used to get irritated so easily, not to mention stressed out about every little thing. I feel like a new person since I've been on adaptogens!

Good luck and God Bless:)

Best regards,
N.
