Have her checkout the New England Center for Children in Southboro. Their website is www.necc.org. They are a great resource!! Also - depending on the age of your niece, Early Intervention should be involved as soon as possible.

I know I already msg'd you but I just thought about a friend of mine, has a son who is autistic and she got him involved in Early Intervention and they put him in a specific school that was capable of meeting his needs. One of the websites I sent you - search for Early Intervention, maybe that could also help??

Hello Kristin,
We do not know of any groups in the area, but I do know that we may have an all natural product that could help your neice. There was research done from John Hopkins University and they found out that people with autism have inflammation in the brain. Nothing to be too concerned about, but with a good anti-inflammatory, it could be helped. All I ask is that you have your sister-in-law take a look into this product and see if she is interested in trying it. It couldn't hurt. It is 100% All Natural! We have seen this product help a lot of our friends and family. We also take this product for our own reasons. Take a look, you might like what you see!
Just to let you know, we have a doctor in Michigan who is a board-certified cancer surgeon and scientist, and he has seen improvements with autism and this product. His name is Dr. Amod Tootla. He has been on AutismOne.com with another lady who had a son with autism. You can read her story at their website. See what helped him!

I have discovered that there is a support clinic at Children's Hospital in Boston - you can access it online for familys of children with disabilities. Check it out to see if there may be some help available there. If you Google the hospital, you'll find the Family Support Clinic link on their website. Good Luck!

VERY HElPFUL tips- TEACH sign language, get on a schedule, get clip art pictures off of computer & teach those pics. to her so she can know what they are- they will help her to commuicate better.
If you can get a personal therapist to work with her that would be awesome.
