If today was the last day I get to spend here on earth...It was a pretty good day....My internet has been only working on and off today...So, it was like god giving me ''the day off'' from working at home...So I played outside with my kids, hard.

We took shaving cream and sprayed it all over our little tykes structure, Then we painted, pretended to ''ice'' a cake...and had a shaving cream fight. Then to clean up I got out old glory...The hose in the front yard and sprayed them all clean...

They now are covered in finger paints, layed out on the front drive way painting the day away!!

Really good day...

So how are we doing out there??

What can I do next?

You sound like a blast!!! What a great idea with the shaving cream. I had
my grandbabies today. Just love every moment with them. Spent special
time with the oldest, 3yo. Papa spent time with the little guy 11 months old,
who adores his PAPA. Then we all played outside. Can't wait until it gets
warmer so I can break out the water guns and other water toys!

Wow, I am jealous, it sounds like it has been a really great day for a few of you!

Today was an ok day... I do have work today but I did get in a few minutes on the treadmill (have had a rough time wanting to work out this week, so I am proud of myself for doing that today), also made giant chocolate chip cookies with the kids. Yesterday was a good one though... made coffee slurpees in the ice cream machine (soooo goood), had my 2 fave people over for an arts and crafts day and worked on a painting. My house is clean and the kids are being really good, so not too shabby. And tomorrow we are planning to go to the zoo (provided the world does not end :)! )

I had a pretty bad start to my day but now as I sit here typing, I have to admit it's not too shabby.

I saw and spent time with my amazing Mom, and Sister. We all got to play and laugh with my son. I brought my Sister back with me home, and we put my son down for sleep. Now we are watching How I Met Your Mother. One of the greatest shows ever haha. Also waiting for my husband to arrive home so we can have fun.

Today started out pretty horrible, not going to lie, but I am hoping it only gets better from here. And hopefully and probably will after this Frozen Strawberry-Mango Lemonade Margarita we are about to enjoy ;)

Just want to say that I LOVE all my dear friends and family out there, and all you ladies as well! Hope that everyone can find some enjoyment in their day today whether it be big or small!

Today wasn't horrible, but my son did have a whining marathon. Too bad no one sponsored him financially for this, as we would've cleaned up big time! It's amazing how you can plan positively, offer great distractions that keep them delighted for a half hour and then "Maaaaamaaaa! Uhnnnn!" Ai-yi-yi!

Otherwise, got my plants into the garden, made a decent dinner and as much as I could not control my son's feelings, I did control my own. (Big "patting self on the back" going on right now.) My plans to go out with a friend to an anticipated poetry reading fell through, so we're going to crank up the dvd player and make some gin and tonics just as soon as Little Mr. Wonderful is done with bedtime!

Sometimes evening is the BEST part of the day!:)
ps-- I see some other moms are also going to enjoy a nice beverage this evening. I raise my glass to us all, tired and worthy ladies are we!

I'm a little annoyed because I was teaching outside most of the day and it was overcast/foggy and now I have the beginnings of a farmer tan, something I was trying to avoid. Fortunately the kids were in a great mood because the weather was nice and they weren't trapped inside.

The baby (17 months) actually leaned over to give me a kiss, punctuated with a loud "mwah". The four year old farted so much in the car I thought he was going to poop his pants, and then he decided that his farts were too smelly so he 'threw them out the window'.

Good times. Lots of smiling!

hmmmm...well first I was nauseated and tired all day, the glories of pregnancy... I got up my hubby said we should all go to breakfast together, something we never do, it was the greatest. The kids got such a kick out of being scooped out of bed and wisked off to breakfast with daddy, it was awesome. Then we came home and worked our tails off to get the house presentable for the bug man to come and do our quarterly extermination, it was exhausting. Then the kids had some lunch, the younger napped, the older hung out with grandma. Then my hubby got off work early which was a great surprise and we ran out and did some errands together while grandma hung out with the kiddos. When we got home grandma departed and I popped nuggets in the oven, everyone but me loved them, I did not partake, :S Now we are all settled for bed, and I am about to go have a cuddle fest with my three year old before he knocks out... so all in all a pretty good day around here ;)

Got up with my daughter and got her breakfast and drove her to school. Got there on time, but argued about her crabiness while practicing her spelling words. Had breakfast with my ex (we do that sometimes) and then picked up groceries and stuff. Did some laundry, a couple hours of school work, wasted some time on the computer...

Did an hour and a half of Karate tonight in prep for my Black Belt test, so have tired muscles and feeling very relaxed. The yummy beer I'm having is helping that, too!

All in all, a good day! Tommorow, ALL of tomorrow, will be writing a paper for school. Supposed to be a rainy day, so that's OK. Then Sunday back with my girl!

Today was my daughters kindergarten hawaiian theme party. I attended with her and we made lots of fun things. Buckets to take home with everyone signing. Grass skirts and leis. Pin the shark fin. Ring toss. Make our own lei. I made some awesome cupcake everyone adored even the kids they did not even want to eat the cupcakes and said they were the best ever. Made 36 cupcakes half blue icing to represent the water. Half crushed animal cookies to represent sand. Stuff a duck in the ocean and put an umbrella on the sand. What a hit! It was a fun end of the year party. Kids came home cleaned went swimming. Now going to grab a bite to eat and watch movies and crashhhh lol!

It was a great day here wasn't it?! I went to preschool with my youngest, they painted a large canvas outside with plungers, fly swatters, balls, cars, and of course their feet! Then we got slurpees, took a nap, Now I'm working in my office across from the arboretum (beautiful for those of you not from Seattle!) until midnight then I get to make 48 cupcake/brownie cheeseburgers for our school picnic tomorrow! I truly hope it doesn't rain like they say it might but hey that's a Seattle summer for ya!

Haha, sounds like an awesome day for ya! It better not be the last day, I just enrolled my little one in this 3 day painting class and a music class and want to go, lmao! Today I woke up to a giggling 2 1/2 year old, it was so cute. Gave her a bath and took a shower. We went to the store to get some milk (which to her, going to the store is the greatest thing in the world haha). We played at the park for about an hour and a half. Ate some pizza for dinner and watched some Wallace and Gromit. We may go on another walk since it doesn't get dark til like 8pm... not too exciting, but today is kind of a lazy day before the weekend when I'm testing out my new bike child carrier, going to the water park, and to the swimming pool :)

Inmy30salready, jealous lol... I totally wanna try fondue one day
Oh I totally want to go to the zoo, we are making a special trip this summer (it's a 4 hour trip to the Hogle Salt Lake city Zoo)

got new carpet installed (yay!) so spent a lot of time moving furniture (boo!)
but because there was nowhere to be comfortable in the house, i spent most of the day in the barn with my neglected mares. they both got groomed within an inch of their lives, and i took jasmine for a ride in her new bitless bridle. she was VERY naughty (it is not a good thing to let mares go unridden for too long) but the bridle was wonderful, and it was great to spend some time with my old sweethearts. then i took myself out for a thoroughly unhealthy and incredibly yummy lunch of burger and fries.
maybe not a bucket list day, but a pretty darn good one.

We've been at Children's Hosp for the past 2 weeks... today we got a central line replaced by I.R., met with pulmonary 4 times, I took a shower and washed my hair (yay!), played the wii (SO great for bedbound kids), switched pain meds (yippee... morphine just *zonks* him, oxy is a gazillion times better), and went tooling about the hospital at 3am in his wheelchair and drag-alongs (iv tower, o2 tank, etc.) to go for some 'midnight omelets', and watched Twilight & Karate Kid.

It was a good day :D :D :D Although we DID miss out on the sun, darnit!!! You're right. It hasn't been this nice since the beginning of Aug last year.

We did school. Then my six year old daughter and I went to the Senior Center (every Friday)...I play piano for their lunch, and she sits in the directors office and has a "meeting" (every Friday) which consists of playing hide and seek with toys, playing with her Ipad, etc...fun! :)

We came home, had lunch. My father in law and I went to pick up a slew of tables for my garage sale.

I cooked for dinner. Nachos.

The rest of my day...every minute...was spent nursing my one year old. Don't know if she's teething, or what...but very fussy and clingy. :)

Now she's in bed and my six year old and I are getting ready to joust with toy knights!!!!!

I was happily sleeping at 6am when my daughter showed up to drop off my grand daughter. I got up and held my little 3yr old while she slept a bit more. Hubby was up, showered off to work by 6:30. Daughter left for work after making some yummy crescent rolls with ham and cheese. Watched a few Backyardigains, did dishes, washing big rugs I used to use getting them ready for a garage sale in 2 weeks. Spent time in the garage sorting stuff trying to find room for tables to organize. Grand daughter wanted to ride her tricycle so I sat in the driveway making price tags on stickers. Came in about noon and reheated the fajatas I made last night for lunch. Gave her a string cheese, mandarine oranges and crackers. So much needs to get done. It hit about 80 and I dont like the heat so I stayed in most of the afternoon. Just messing around on the computer, reading a book about dinosaurs to the little one,and watching tv. Daughter came back about 2 and took her daughter so I picked up a few toys, and the neighbor came over asking if I could stay with her sleeping baby while she went to get her daughter from school. Happy to do it, so I went next door and played with the 2 youngest girls while the baby boy slept and we watched most of "Tangled". and sang goofy songs. Came home about 3:45 and did more rugs in the washer. (I like them maybe I'll keep them)haha .. Friend called at 4:30 asking if we want to go out to dinner. yes, called another couple we've been trying to get to go with us but they can't go. Waited till 15 minutes before we are supposed to meet (6:30)and then called hubby,, gosh, just getting done with golf. I forgot it was Friday and he goes golfing at 1. Off to the restaurant. met the other couple, hubby arrived, we ate, talked laughed, vented about our kids. came home and here we are. Watching "What Would You Do?" and chatting online with my sister who lives an hour away. Every night we chat on and off till bedtime. Husband is asleep on the couch. Its been an easy day and since the Dr told me Ive had bronchitis, pneumonia and have developed asthma,,its a good thing it was easy.

Well, my kids had their last day of school on Wednesday. My son asked me last night if there was still a Matins service on Fridays, so we got up and went to Matins this morning. If you aren't Lutheran (or Catholic?), you should know that it is a beautiful service filled with liturgical chanting/singing and a short sermon by the Pastor. There were 7 of us, including myself and my 2 kids. It was wonderful to hear my 9 and 12 year old singing the liturgy with me.

Then, there was a fantastic Bible study (very small, 3 of us plus the Pastor teaching it) while my kids busied themselves playing. Daughter practiced her piano.
After we came home, I made lunch, did some housework, and then the kids wanted to swim. So they jumped in the pool for 2 hours or so and then came in. Hubby came home and I started dinner.

Now we are watching "Maverick" on Netflix instant streaming. (of course, I am also on this site, since I've seen the movie a few times already, lol)... but it is fun. The kids have their sleeping bags out on the floor in the dark, like we used to do as kids at the drive in. :)

It sounds like you had an awesome day! Go you!

My day was a rough one. I worked 9 hours today. At work I had to deal with employees feuding with one another. Ugggh. I called a meeting and made them do a team building exercise, which I think brought them back together (we shall see come Monday). That nonsense sucked up most of the work day. After that I rushed home. My husband is sick so I had to run his perscriptions to the pharmacy, pick up pizza for dinner, return some movies so we don't get a late fee. Back home to eat dinner, then run back out to pick up the prescriptions. Back home to bath my daughter, fold 3 baskets of laundry and clean up. I just got my daughter into bed, and I will go to bed soon because I have to go into the office tomorrow morning to get caught up on some work. There is just not enough time in a day.

I would trade my day for yours in a heartbeat! I am glad you got to spend a great day with your kids!

I had a busy, somewhat stressful day teaching today. I generally love my job, but today wasn't the best day. Tonight is better, though. My husband is working late, so my boys and I went out for some fantastic chicken fried steak. Yum! Now I'm relaxing while my oldest is helping my youngest put together a complicated lego set. I hope you all are having a relaxing evening! :)

I want your day !!!!

We took the kitty to the Vets
Grocery shopped
and are preparing the house for overnight guests tomorrow

I did spend the whole day with my son - poor guy - manual labor all day for first day of summer break. LOL

And tomorrow isn't looking much better - Food co-op early am, kitty back to the vets, take son to play in band at HS graduation mid-day, pick son up whenever it is over, more cleaning for me in between, then friends over for the night. That part we are super looking forward to.

Ah, but Sunday, church and working in the yard to finish our fence project - we are actually both looking forward to that!!!

Have a glorious weekend everyone!!!!

God Bless
