Hello! I am a first time mom and my son will be enrolling in preschool for the fall. I am not familiar with any preschools in Sandy and could use some help from all you moms out there. Please let me know where you have taken your kids and if you loved/hated it. Thanks and I appreciate the help.

I cannot say enough about the curriculum or sweet teachers at The Challenger School.
They helped my slow learning, difficult personality child so much it makes me cry writing this.
They changed her life.
Their belief that Readers Are Leaders and that every child can and wants to learn is sooo true!
2. Intermountain Christian School at the bottom of Big Cottonwood Canyon has a great reputation
3.I have a lot of friends with kids at The Newcastle School in Draper who have really liked that, too.

I just moved from Sandy and was VERY sad to leave Tomorrow's Rainbow Preschool with Juanita Hammer! My daughter attended her preschool last year and I can only say positive! My son was suppose to go there this year. :( I noticed Heidi S already posted about this preschool with all of the info. I just wanted to give Juanita a second thumbs up! You can't go wrong with her! She does fill up fast - call early!

My 2nd daughter goes to Hilltop Christian School. They start with a 2 1/2-3 class up to 2nd grade. She is in her 2nd year there ( 4-5 preschool) and loves it. It is a very friendly and caring environment. They learn through play although it is a structured morning. The class is 12- 14 kids and most have an aid as well. All the teachers have degrees in Teaching. I really like it as well and have made some good friends there. They do offer an afternoon class as well. Their no is ###-###-####.

Just to let you know alot of preschools go off how the state starts kindergarton so if your son is not 3 by Sept 1 they will not let him start yet.
My daughter went to Barbies Preschool she does it her home. Excellent teacher I will bring my son back to and my daughter went for two years.
She actually saved my daughters life. She noticed unusual behavior little things. I took her in and my daughter had a brain tumor. I love that teacher and now we are really good friends.
Her number is ###-###-####.
One of the mothers their had a child that went to challenger, she said her son learned more at barbies preschool th e first year of preschool, than her daughter at challenger.
Hope that helps.

My kids have both gone to a preschool called Tomorrow's Rainbow, run from the teacher's home in Sandy. The teacher, Juanita Hammer, has been running her own preschool for 20 years or so. Her classes are all small and my kids have done super with her. Her number is ###-###-#### and she will enroll for next 2009 school year, beginning in January. She fills up fast.
