I was wondering if anyone has some recommendations on a single jogging stroller that folds up smaller.
I have a VW Jetta. Although the trunk is a good size I just want to be sure that it fits.
What is some of your favorite jogging strollers or maybe some that are not your favorite?
Looking for recommendations since most jogging strollers are found online.
Thanks

I have a VW Passat and I as well LOVE my BOB Revolution. It folds up and fits in my trunk just fine. Forget any other stroller, I never even used a stroller with my carseat.I have it but never used it. The Jogger is perfect for all occasions, it manuevers around like a dream...It even has shocks on it. HA HA! LOVE IT!

HI S.,

I love my Bob revolution. It's more expensive but worth the money. A lot of the other joggers will shake when running with the wheel unlocked. I have never had problems with my Bob and have been using it for almost 3 years.

I love my Bumbleride Indie! The only thing I don't like about it is it's sunshade, but I bought an add-on one from Rayshade that I use when the sun is low.

BOB! On the expensive side, but it glides so smoothly and is lightweight. It also has a really good sun shade.

I agree - I love the BOB so much, that I use it in place of the regular stroller we were using in addition to my runs. It handles really well, and has a super smooth ride. You barely have to push! In fact, if you're going downhill, you better hang on to it tight, because it will glide right down! I actually wish they made these adult size ;)

I got mine at REI also, who also carry the Phil & Teds & other baby joggers. That might be a good place to check them all out. REI also has a flexible and accommodating return policy so if it turns out it doesn't work for you, they'll accept the return. But I suspect you'll be impressed!

BOB Revolution all the way! It is really pricey but worth the extra $. My baby news in Santa Rosa lets you try stuff in your car. I recommend going there and trying it out in your trunk. My one complaint about BOB is that my 10 month old slumps in the seat
, but her friend doesn't slump at all. so the slumping could just be my girl.

Hands down spend the money and get a BOB. I put it off because of the cost, and now I think of all the things we missed out on or were much harder than they needed to be. The BOB will fold flat making it possible to fit in the bottom of the trunk if you need to pile a bunch of stuff on top of the stroller. The quick release wheels do have to come off for it to fold flat, but that is really easy!

I tried out a couple of used jogging strolers friends had, and while none of them were bad, they didn't feel as smooth or a s sturdy as the BOB.

Happy shopping!

I love my BOB. If you live near Goore's, they have them in store so you can check them out and make sure it is a good fit for you. A few months ago REI had all BOB on sale for 20% off - remember you might find jogging strollers at non baby retailers!

I feel the same as the previous poster, except about the Phil & Ted's Sport. It does the same as she discribed the BOB to do, so I think either might be a good fit. I know they are more pricy, but you could watch Craigslist for a deal.
Also, with the P&T, you can purchase a seperate peice that coverts the whole thing into a double stroller. In case you have another baby. Or want to bring your older daughter along and give her a place to rest. It's very compact and easy to use!
best wishes...

Mountain Buggy, I replied to another post about jogging stroller just the other day. In summary, looked at the Bob, compared it to the Mountain Buggy. I didn't like the long wrist strap that also holds it shut on the Bob as well as the foot rest for the child. I have been happy with my decision on the Mountain Buggy. I wanted a comparable if not better stroller than Bob. Everyone seems to have a Bob and I am glad to have something different.

sports basement in sunnyvale has a large display of BOB revolutions in their store. they are pretty friendly there, so you can probably go look at them and try folding it up to see how it might fit in your car.

we had the BOB SUS and really liked it. we sold it since we're looking to buy a double now.

I got the In Step Safari Swivel Wheel Jogger - Single Gray/Green
at Target for $135. It's pretty cool. 4 1/2 star rating.
