I am looking into getting a jogging stroller. I know they are expensive so I want to make sure I am getting a good one. Does anyone have any suggestions on which brand is best?

Thanks

We have a "Dreamer Design" that we really love. The sunshade is the best feature as it covers really, really well. The stroller is lightweight, steers great, and has a good amount of storage. We've been using ours for 2 1/2 years and have had absolutely no problems! I also hear that the BOB is a nice one. Good luck!

Depends on what you want it for - if you are doing hard core running (e.g. more than a few miles) then you probably want to get stroller that has larger wheels and a locked front wheel. If you are looking to do light jogging and walking along trails (which is what my family does) - a stoller like the BOB Revolution is great.

You may want to read up on the various pros & cons of the different brands in the latest Baby Bargains book - should be in all the libraries, or you can just read through the stoller section at the bookstore.

When my daughter was 9 months old my husband and I started training for a marathon. Being that we live in New Mexico we needed a jogigng strolled that could handle any terrain. After much research and reading all the reviews we could we finally bought a jeep stroller. Not only was it more affordable than others but it has turned out to be an amazing stroller. We bought the jeep liberty jogging stroller but have heard all jeep strollers are great. Just make sure you buy the one that has the featured you are looking for...

I have a Bob Stroller Stride stroller and wouldn't trade it for the world!!!! We ended up getting rid of 5 other strollers because it was the only one we chose to use. Comfortable for baby and for mommy and daddy as well. Well worth every penny.

They are super expensive. I researched them like crazy before my baby was born. I got a babyjogger performance with 20" wheels and it was wonderful! I was really worried about him bouncing around too much. Having not used a stroller in years prior to using it, I didn't realize until many months after I had it that it was really a good stroller (I tried one of my friend's). You barely had to use any of your own effort to push it.

Unfortunately, because it was so wonderful, it was also VERY large. It wouldn't fit in my car--I have a Jetta. (it did fit in a friend's jeep liberty)

I ended up exchanging it after about 8 months for a Bob. I enjoy it a lot. It's not quite as light, nor is it terribly small, but it does fit in a sedan, and I can use it on rugged trails.

I hope this helps!

I have a baby jogger and really like it - it's been the primary stroller I use for over a year and I don't jog :-) It folds up REALLY easily (just lift from the middle and it's folded in half) and it also fits easily into the back of my PT Cruiser so I don't see it as being super big. Good luck.

We have a BOB revolution double and it is amazing!! I hear the single ones are great too. Definitely worth the money! We actually take the stroller everywhere, even the mall and shopping.
