I am trying to find the best option for a jogging stroller for a child that is 3 years old. I am a single mom and wanna start walking/running again. Most of the strollers look like they are for smaller children. Anyone use one for older kids that could tell me the brand they like? Thank you!

I have a BoB AW revolution and LOVE it. I have only this stroller and use it every where. My older kids (60lbs) have gotten in it and like to push each other around. It does take up some trunk room but not any more than any other jogger. I really researched joggers as we live outside jk and this stroller is one of the most compact and rugged. Check out

It is a great comparison chart that covers everything.
Oh, make sure you get a swivel wheel or one that does both. You will get more use out of it. Also check kid to kid or ebay and other resale sites because strollers are not cheap retail. Most strollers, especially joggers, are not beyond reuse even cosmetically. You will find great saving from resale shops if you find what you want.
happy strolling!

We have a Dreamer Design and my 5 year old can still ride in it when I want exercise.

I have a double jogging stroller by baby trend. I know Target sells this brand. I use it for my 3yr and 4mo. If you would like to get together, I would also like to start walking/jogging. I live in Richardson and my 3yo is named Madison.

If you plan on walking too, and not just running, I would strongly recommend getting one that has a swivel front wheel.

I just bought one from Burlington Coat Factory in the Grapevine Mills mall for about $90. It is the Expedition by Baby Trend, and I've been so happy with it. It has a swivel front wheel that you can lock to keep it straight for jogging. I found that the kind of jogging strollers with the fixed front wheel are very hard to steer unless you are running.

Also, my daughter is only 18 months old, but she seems tiny in it. I know it would support a 3 year old fine. It has a very large space for them to sit, and the snack tray is high, made more for a larger child I believe.

Good luck!
