Looking Fo Non Toxic Cleaner

I use all non toxic cleaners in my home. My 5 yr. old daughter has allergies so I do my best to control what she breaths in. Since we all know that school is a breeding ground for illness they want hand sanitizer brought in. I also supply disinfectant wipes and Lysol to help control the germs and viruses in the classroom. I found some "green" cleaning wipes I can order but see nothing like a Lysol kind of spray. Does anyone know of disinfectant spray like it that is "green" or non toxic. I only see the spray bottle onesand I know they will not want that for the classroom.

What can I do next?

The Melaleuca company sells a Thyme-based disinfectant spray that I like. You can probably find others if you google natural disinfectant. Bacteria and viruses are not much of a problem, it's the factors that suppress one's immune system such as chemicals, allergies, stress, etc. that people would be wise to concern themselves with. Trying to disinfect everywhere is mostly a waste, it just helps foster hardier microbes with most antibacterial methods.

My mom buys and sells Melaleuca. They have a botanical disinnfectant spray she uses called Soluguard.(LOL-she's an ESE teacher in a portable classroom that gets that same problem-mold/mildew etc) I use it in my cleaning biz and a lot of my customers love it-especially those with allergies and scent sensitivities. The only other one I can recommend (besides using vinegar and baking soda) is the Clorox Greenworks line. I know My daughters school asked for clorox wipes this year also-as a donation.

I'm not sure if this info will help but I've been using vinegar/water blend. It's non-toxic and kills both bacteria and mold. I know most people are put off by the smell but it goes away quickly and you can add few drops of dish soap to remedy the smell. I use it for everything from wiping down my kids cribs and doorknobs to mopping the floor. You can make a spray bottle easy enough.
Don't know if it's what your looking for but hopefully it'll help.

I'm not sure this is what you are looking for, but I use BabyGirl cleaning products, and they are awesome. They make an all pupose cleaner, glass cleaner, dish/hand soap, bathroom cleaner, wood cleaner, and more. All of the ingredients are listed right on the bottle (unlike other "natural" cleaners such as Melaluca, Green Works, and Seventh Generation, which are not as "non-toxic" as they claim to be) so you know exactly what is in them. And they work just as well if not better than other cleaners. It is a local company, in Tampa, so I feel good about supporting them. You can get the products in a number of health food stores around the Tampa Bay area, or online at www.babygirlproducts.com. Hope that helps!

Hi T.,
I use Young Living's Thieves Cleaner. It is non-toxic and made with pure essential oils of rosemary, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus and lemon. Naturally anti viral, antibacterial, antimold, antiplague. Wonderful product. Let me know if you want some, too. You can put it in a spray bottle to be used, it also comes in wipes.

White vinegar. It kills the allergens, enzymes from pet pee, bacteria; and is non-toxic. It also cleans glass, counter tops, toilets, etc.
It may smell like a salad for a half-hour; but there's no residual odor, toxic residue or harmful effect. It's also cheap!
