I have an almost 3 year old daughter who will be starting preschool this fall. I'm looking for a solid Christian preschool in my area. I live in Spring Lake Park, but am willing to drive somewhat. Any recommendations or experience with preschools would be great (I would take recommendations for great non Christian also) Thank you!

What can I do next?

Hi E.,
There is actually a great christian school in Brooklyn Park. Here is the info. My best friends will be taking there daughter there and they said for a private christian school is very reasonable in price. I hope this helps!

I would highly recommend Salem Covenant in New Brighton. We have our 2nd child starting there this year. We were so happy with the program last year with our older child in the 4 yr class (we lived in WI so he went to a different school for 3's).
They might still have some openings too, but I would call soon!!

Not sure how far you are willing to drive, but
Zion in Anoka is awesome - I've had 2 of my 3 sons go through
the preschool program there. (the other one will be there next school year.) They both LOVED it and all the teachers are so wonderful.
Another mom is right, the registration for this stuff does begin really early (Shortly after the new year).
It takes awhile to get used to all this school stuff - everything starts way earlier than you would think as far as registrations etc. go.
good luck.

I took mine to Peace Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids. It is located on the corner of 109th and University. I was really happy. Also, in White Bear there is a really good preschool at Eagle Brook church.

My daughter will be going to Christ Lutheran. It's near ToysRUs. You might have trouble finding a preschool now. Most of them have registration in the early spring. Crazy, I know! But I got our spot just by sheer luck...back in April. Good luck!

Hi! We are sending our daughter to St. John's in New Brighton (just south of 694 off Long Lake Rd), but I think they might be full. Worth asking as it is a great school for preschool, even if you don't plan to send your child through their private Catholic school later on (we plan to go to public school.) I also have a friend who sends her son to Christ Lutheran's preschool in Blaine. Also, our daycare provider is on the board of Abiding Savior's preschool in Moundsview and that one is good. Salem Covenant in New Brighton (just south of 694 as well on Silver Lake Road) is good as well -- we looked seriously at that one. They are all Christian and good ones. Good luck!
