St. David's is very good, but expensive. Dispite the name it is not religious based.

All Saint's Luthern is really good.

Harley Hopkins has a pre-school that's really good as well.

These are all closer to Hopkins then Mound, but there are tons over here to choose from.

There is a MOM's Club for both Minnetonka East and West that should be able to help you more as well.

S.,
I am opening a Montessori preschool run from my home(Brooklyn park area). I am a licensed daycare provider, trained Montessori teacher, and have a Masters degree in Education. I will follow the Montessori curriculum for children ages 3-6. Little Hands Preschool is open from 7:30-6:00pm weekdays. Children will have 2 snacks and lunch through a food program. I would love to show you my preschool and talk more about the Montessori philosophy and set up a visit.
Thanks, J.

Have you checked out Spring Hill Waldorf School in Excelsior? My son went to pre-school there for two years and loved the programs and teachers. Talk to Karen, the enrollment coordinator - ###-###-####. Or visit thier website: springhillschool.com, or attend one of their information evenings - August 3rd at 7:00 pm.

One of the best preschools I know is St. David's Early Childhood Center (non-religious). It's terrific! They take children from the age of 16 months to Pre-K. Well-known and respected in the field. You'd love it.

Check out their website. As you'll see on the website, they are also a well known special needs center. www.stdavids.net

Hi S., are you the mom that is relocating from San Diago? Did you grow up in Portland Oregon like I did?

My husband and I moved hear last Feb. and so far it has been good. I found this web site shortly after we moved and it has saved my life! I have met some great people and have connected with 3 in perticular. We get together for lunch and happy hour at least once a week! We have lots of fun. Do you have family hear? We only have a cousin close that lives in Hayward. Other than that it's just my husband and my 2 girls Megan, and Maia ( 3 1/2, and 2 months)

If you would ever want to meet at the play area at Eden Prairie mall I would be happy to. It seems to be a good safe place to meet for the first time. Let me know if your interested! Wow 3 kids you must be busy! :)
