Looking for some good recommendations in finding a church. I grew up Catholic and my husband Episcopalian. We are very open minded and are really just looking for a welcoming place that is close by.

My husband and I attend St. Philips Episcopal in Frisco. We are right up Dallas Parkway and Stonebrook. We have a lot of people from Plano. I just love the place. We just moved into our new building. They have a great kids program. I feel very at home here. You can do a search for them and look at their website and liten to some sermons if you would like.

Let me know if you have any questions,
Thanks,
M.

Please let me know what you come up with because I am looking for one too. I am a Catholic but I am very open minded. I was going to St Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano but that is where I got married and the whole wedding/marriage was a joke him(my ex) and his family made me feel that they were someone that they weren't, they lied and betrayed me from the beginning. His family's friends go there and I do not feel comfortable going there.

We absolutely love our church in Plano. Christ Episcopal Church is on Legacy between Preston and Coit. It is a good size church but they keep the smaller church feel with Small Groups which we are involved in. I have a teenager who has loved the youth program - and I don't have to fight to get him up on Sunday mornings. I also have a toddler and I really love the nursery staff and the Mom programs. The church keeps to scriptural teachings as the basis and avoids the 'trend de jour' of society today. I invite you and your family to attend - I hope you would enjoy it as much as we have. Services are Saturday nights at 5:30 or Sundays at 8am, 9:15 and 11am. We hope to see you there!

I grew up Catholic, my husband Baptist, we decided to be Methodist, and we go to First United Methodist Church in Plano on Spring Creek and Parker. Very friendly, lots to be involved in if you like that and great school too for kiddos.
