I am looking for a directory or other place to advertise my business. Since my business is geared toward children and expecting couples I have used the Kids Directory in the past with no results. I need something that is affordable but that will produce results. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I ALWAYS thumb through the ads in Dallas Child magazine. I do not know how much their advertising space is, but I have used their directory several times to find service providers. Good luck to you!
Have you tried Dallas Child or the Plano Profile? I have not personally advertised in either of these, but I do look through them for referrals on occasion.
Hi Michelle, I wasn't sure what type of business you are looking to advertise...but I recently got a call when I was advertising a spot for my in home day care (when they saw a sign I had posted) from a publication they send out in Stonebridge. I have no idea what it costs...I was planning on calling it but filled the spot so their wasn't a need. If you decide that you are interested...let me know and I will get a number for you. Have you looked into Dallas child? Might be worth a look--
Here in McKinney we get McKinney Kids a free local publication (you probably get something similar in Frisco too)that gets mailed to us. It's fill with ads primarily but there are a few articles pretaining to kids. I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I thought I'd pass it on.

I am not sure what kind of business you have. I am a speech-language pathologist, and also work with children. I have a program for young children with special needs. I currently advertise at www.aroundtownkids.com. It is quite reasonable. If you go to that web site you will be able to contact the woman who runs it, and determine if this would be a good choice for your business. Good luck!

What is your business? We may be able to network together with my business as well. Also, Dallas Child has reasonable advertising rates. I actually just met with them yesterday.
don't know if you have tried dallas child or dfw kids mags yet. Also I know I have gotten the Frisco town mag, in McKinney, that has local bus. listed and thought it was good.
