I have recently started taking Spanish with Lonestar college and my 6-year old daughter has expressed interest in taking Spanish classes of her own. Does anyone know about classes for kids in the Cypress area or within driving distance to Houston?

What can I do next?

Hello R.,
You need to call the Texas School of Languages. They do an excellent job and have classes in Spanish for kids. They are located at 10658 Jones Road. Their phone number is ###-###-####. I myself teach there in the evening, but I teach adult ESL classes. They also have summer camps for kids and enrollment is going on now. Check it out! You'd be amazed.

R., I know the Langham Creek YMCA has offered Spanish classes for kids in the past. I am not sure if they have any offered in the Spring this year, but I know they have done it in the past. Good luck! It's great that your daughter is interested already!
