Beavers Bend State park in Broken Bow OK. It's a great park for camping, hiking, swimming, horseback riding. My kids love it. Always fun, They have a great nature center, that has activities for the kids.

I just went with my 10 year old and his class to Innerspace Cavern near Austin. So easy to get to - it's directly on I35 right before Georgetown I think. It's a really neat trip into the caverns and the guides are really good with kids. They also have a little play area and a place to pinic if you want to bring a lunch.
