Looking for the Best Travel Benefits Credit Card

We use the Delta American Express Card. It is 2 miles for every dollar at many places. Sometimes it's triple miles. We have been very happy with it so far, and just returned from Europe where we had no problem with it being accepted everywhere credit cards were accepted. It does have an annual fee, I think it's $65 for the platinum card we have, but you also get a free companion ticket every year.

We have a Capital One Card which allows you to earn miles that do not expire for the life of the account. You can earn 2 miles or 1.25 miles per dollar spent. If you chose the 2 miles per dollar there is a $39 annual fee. If you chose the 1.25 miles per dollar there is no annual fee.

I'm also a fan of American Express. They have awesome dispute resolution services and we've used our "points" several times before quite easily. They've even expanded their travel program to include no blackout date flight rewards. Essentially you book a trip and it gets charged in a dollar amount to your card, then Amex will credit you back the dollar amount as long as you have the right number of points to convert. It eliminates the need for belonging to a number of frequent flier programs and then having to transfer points. They have several different card programs too, regular Amex, Gold, Platinum which don't have spending limits but must be paid off every month, Blue which is a revolving credit acct and the Delta one, to name a few.
