I am having a really hard time paying for my sitter and rent. Its like having 2 house payments with 2 kids.... I just had my 2cd almost 3 months ago and me and my husband are sinking. I am looking for a second job... I work from 7:30 - 4:30 M-F in Addison, so ir takes me an hour to get home so I would be able to probably be at a job by 5:30 at the latest... I can do anything and easily trained. I can also do weekends. If anyone knows of anything available please let me know. My husband has a bad background from when he was 16 and cant get a really good job. He works really hard and is stressed b/c he is doing all he can. He just wants to provide for us. I want to help take a little stress off him. Its affecting us as a couple as well. Thanks in advance!

If you are willing to work retail, there is a new store opening in Northpark Mall called babystyle. It sells maternity clothes, infant/toddler clothes, and accessories. My friend is the manager and is conducting interviews right now. Let me know if you are interested and give me someway to contact you and I will pass the info along to her.

Best of luck,
S.

I know exactly where you are comming from. Not to be to nosy but what does your husband do? My husband owns a home improvement company and is looking for experienced fence crews and helpers. I would just hate to see you have to take a second job.

L.,
I can sympathize with your situation. My husband use to be in the Army and I remember that feeling. I would love to talk to you about an opportunity that can help you supplement, even replace your income down the road but not force you to take a second job. 10 minutes of your time would be it. If you still have an interest from there we can talk more. I was looking for a second job myself at one point too. I would like to share with you my husband and I are doing. If you get 10 minutes, please call me at ###-###-####(cell). I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi L.,
I understand - we are running pretty tight financially as well. I started working with a company called Fine Images recently. They provide cleaning services to model homes. The nice part is that they only want you to come after sales hours so usually the baby is in bed before I leave or at least getting his bath so I don't feel like I am missing out on time with him. Its independent contract and you can email Katie Graham at ____@____.com if you are interested in seeing if she needs anyone else. Most of us are stay at home moms so we all have the same issues that you do - no money and wanting to have time with the kiddos. Best of luck to you, and you aren't alone out there. Email me back if you have any questions.

Hello L.! I know what it feels like to be tight on cash. I am writing to share my experience. I highly recommend being a consultant with Southern Living at HOME. You can work a flexible schedule from home and make extra cash for your family. You are your own boss, so you decide how much and how often you want to work. It is great! I have been a consultant for 6 months now and am so glad I signed up. If you are interested, please give me a call at ###-###-####. I also have a DVD that I can send you to check out and in the mean time check out www.southernlivingathome.com

Good luck & God Bless,

Hi L. my name is C. and I completely understand what you are going through. My husband wasn't so great of a kid either and that affected him for awhile too. Your husband should look into getting his records sealed. My husband is currently working in sales and that hasn't caused any problems with his record. He started off selling furniture and has moved up from there. My suggestion to you if you can be at work at 5:30 is to wait tables. I have waited tables since I was 15 and I am about to have to take that on as my second job as well. The hours are flexible and the money is good, plus it helps since you will get cash everyday that you work. If you enjoy being around people I think you would like it. I loved waiting tables. Well I hope that I could be of some help. Have a good day and good luck!!

L.,
After reading some of the responses you've had on the Mamasource website, I felt compelled to warn you -- just in case a red flag wasn't going up already for you. Please be careful of pyramid marketing schemes (not necessarily reputable home businesses like Southern Living or Mary kay), but ones that don't tell you what they do or sell upfront. I've always heard from business associates that any business that won't tell you who they are/what they are upfront (but force you to sit through an 'informational meeting/session' first to find out more info) is not telling the truth.

Real businesses are proud of who they are and are more than happy to tell you their revenue, their profits, losses, what they do, what they sell or buy, etc. -- all this UPFRONT. So just be aware...if it sounds too good to be true (without much effort)... it usually is. And these pyramid bussinesses always prey upon those less fortunate in tough times because that's when you're really looking for a miracle to pull you out. They have the most success with those in tough times -- notice they never advertise or set up booths at Willow Bend mall or outside Neiman Marcus. Just be careful.
I would go for a conventional part-time job -- either in retail, babysitting or temp agency. That might be your best bet to find a reliable, steady income. I'll be praying for a good opportunity to come your way.

Sorry to be cynical, but I really felt led to send this email to warn you, just in case. I had a friend who was going through financial problems that went after a pyramid scheme and it led nowhere after she already invested some of her hard-earned money. And of course, my husband (before we were married) was invited to a "dinner party" but it turned out to be a marketing/selling pitch for a pyramid scheme, too. He didn't buy into it because he was so mad he was deceived and the whole idea sounded ridiculous and too good to be true. Better safe than sorry, right?

Hi L.,
I just read your e-mail and I have a great option. I help people be able to earn extra income right along side their current job. We don't sell products or are a MLM. But I would love to share what I do with both of you. My husband and I do it together and I have been able to completly come home full time. I have a 12 week old baby myself and a 2 year old. My check last month was $6100, so this is a way you can replace your income...at home.
If you would like to talk with me and ask some questions, please feel free to call me ###-###-####.
Blessings,
J. W.
