Mountain Buggy Versus BOB Revolution

I am the mom of a 2-year-old girl, who doesn't like to walk in her stroller, though I wish she did. She does like off-roading and when I "go fast". I need to start exercising and want to include her so I am tossing our broken down stroller and getting a jogger. I want something maneuverable, comfortable for my baby, that handles bumps comfortably, and that she might fall asleep in. I can only jog 1/2 mile at a time, so it needn't be marathon proof. I have narrowed it down to Mountain Buggy, Bob, and Quinny. Literally my choices are a gently used Mountain Buggy Urban (retails $525, for sale for $225), or a brand new BOB revolution (retails $389, for sale for $275) or a brand new Quinny Buzz (retails $500, for sale for $300). Please help, which should I choose. I have been researching non stop for a week. I need to make a decision. Thank you!!!!!!!

So What Happened?

Thanks to those who gave an opinion. Before even checking out the second hand Mountain Buggy, I went to REI because someone on the Babies R Us review page recommended it (EVERYONE there said how great the BOB was). And after becoming a member, ($20 for lifetime) I got the Bob Revolution stroller for 20% off, so $310. And I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!! We walked around my mom's neighborhood today and I was just beaming. I will totally recommend the BOB to anyone! THANK YOU!!!!

I don't know anything about the Mountain Buggy or the Quinny, but I really enjoy our BOB double stroller. It is so easy to use - feels like I am pushing practically nothing. Very comfortable for the kids. It also can be used with or without the wheel locked. I finally settled on the BOB because it allowed for the tallest kid - so I can use it a bit longer than the others. Purchasing it on sale was still pricey, so being able to use it a bit longer was appealing. You have to order the water bottle holder separately - it was worth it. Hope this helps. Enjoy your excercising! : )

Another vote for the BOB revolution! We have a single and just bought the double, if you're an REI member you can get 20% off right now.

We went through the same process trying to decide which stroller to buy. WE have the BOB and I LOVE it. It handles much better off road than the mountain buggy.

I had the Bob revolution and LOVED it. After my second child, I was hesitant to spend almost $600 on the double, but everyone told me nothing would be as good once I got used to a Bob. I ended up splurging and I'm so glad I did...I love the double too. They are great strollers. Very smooth and easy to control.

I love my Quinny for malls, walks, zoo trips, etc. but I would not recommend it for even light running. The wheels would probably be OK, but it's not stable like a jogger would be. Plus, if you start doing a half mile regularly you might work up to doing more and it would definitely not serve you well there. I don't have experience with either of the others, but I do know my friend's daughter hates sitting in her BOB because the seats are so deep and she can't see out. Not sure if the Mountain Buggy addresses that,or if it's just a normal feature of all joggers. Hope that helps!
