Hi all. I'm moving to the Doylestown area in mid January and will be 6 mos pregnant. Who are the good OBs in the area? What's the best hospital to deliver in? Also, how about pediatricians? Any experiences you can share would be great. I've had two babies where I live now and the prospect of having a child somewhere else is very unnerving!

What can I do next?

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Carolyn Ianieri at Doyesltown Women's Health. If you search here, many people seem to feel the same about her too!

As for pediatrician, we use Kids First and they have been really great as well. There's about 5 or so docs, though we've had most of our experience w/ Dr. Harrington, who is also really wonderful.

I give my highest possible recommendation to both these places.

Hi J.- My name is L. and I have 3 kids, all born at Doylestown Hospital. I used Doylestown Women's health Center as my OB. Loved them and never had a problem. There are 5 doctors in the practice, 3 women and 2 men. I would highly reccomend them. Here is the # if you want to check them out ###-###-####.

I live about 25 minutes from Doylestown, so I wouldn't reccomend you driving that far for my doctors, but there are many in the area (central bucks Peds and Kids First) You can also call your insurance co and see what they can offer. Good luck!

I will say the same as the others, Dr. Ianieri of Doylestown Women's Health is the absolute best!! All of the doctors there are good. Dr. Fitz would be my next choice. Dr. Ianieri delivered both my girls at Doylestown Hospital and I could not have had a better experience anywhere!

I keep hearing that Grandview Hospital is a nice place to have a baby. There is a practice of docs there I can't remeber the name. I will ask a girlfriend and get back to you.

I delivered all of my children at Doylestown Hospital, and absolutely loved it there! Although the OB that delivered my kids is no longer affliated with the hospital. I switched to Doylestown Women's Health Center. The doctors there are awesome and I have loved my experience so far. I chose them because I like Doylestown hospital out of all hospitals. (I live about 5 mins from Abington Hospital and preferred to deliver my kids at Doylestown.

I had both my kids (2yrs and 9mos) at Doylestown Hospital. I used Dr. Dinesen as my ob. He is great. His office is attached to the hospital, so it is really convenient. And they always were able to schedule appointments around my schedule. He is a wonderful doctor and recommend him very highly.

We use Kids First of Doylestown (use to be central bucks peds). The are a apart of Children's Hospital. They have multiple doctors and nurse practitioners. So it is really easy to get both sick and well appointments. And I usually don't have to wait that long. For well visits, my kids always see Dr. Harrington.

I use to work right in Doylestown, and now live 15 minutes outside of town. So if you need any other recommendations, or anything else, just let me know. I know how hard moving can be with kids.

Good Luck!

I love Dr. Ianieri of Doylestown Women's Health. I experienced a lot of trauma growing up and she has been so supportive of me and always schedules me extra time for exams. She always gives me big hugs and makes me feel very safe. One time i was really struggling post partum and she stayed with me while i cried and kept hugging me til i calmed down. I have never known a doctor to be so invested in their patient's lives. Love her and am so thankful for her.
