Sounds like she's picked up one thing after another.

When mine were little and in daycare they picked up whatever was going around. It seems crazy at the time - we were back and forth to the doctor's office constantly.

Fevers, coughs, etc. is all pretty normal. Why did they do the blood work? If she had white blood cell count that was high, it would suggest that she had an infection of some sort. What did they say or do to treat that?

Wheezing - pretty common with coughs and colds. But it could be something more. Mine went on puffers just for when they wheezed. Usually only during coughs or colds. They called them "asthmatic" but not true asthma. We know a lot of kids like this. And they outgrow it typically - mine did.

Throwing and up diarrhea sounds like whole new bug. Usually you just let those run their course - keep her hydrated.

When they are little and you go in that much, it does feel like you are treating one thing after another, and you wonder - ok is something more going on? Trust your gut. One of mine had to have adenoids out, ear tubes, and had allergies in the end - also explained his chronic eczema. To me, it doesn't sound like your daughter has an underlying condition (that all sounds pretty normal) but keep a list yourself. Parents have to be their children's advocate.

Good luck :)

So much is going around.
She could be catching one thing after another.
Keep her fluids up and keep taking her to the doctor.

It seemed like we were living at our pediatricians office when our son was little.
When he was 3 his tonsils swelled up to the point of almost becoming an obstruction.
They weren't infected - they were just huge and interfering with his swallowing, breathing and sleeping.
We tried steroids to shrink them - and they worked while he was taking them - but as soon as he finished the tonsils ballooned right back up again.
Soon as soon he turned 4 we had his tonsils and adenoids out - and he was much less sick after that.
He slept so much better, the dark circles under his eyes went away, because he was sleeping better his behavior at preschool was much better.
Having his tonsils/adenoids out was the best thing we ever did.

The stomach issues are probably from the antibiotic. Keep talking to the doctors. They might recommend yogurt or a probiotic once the antibiotics are done.

If she's in school you have your answer. However even if she is not, 3 yo are notorious for getting sick and since February there has been so much going around. The past 3 weeks have been terrible. Strep, flu, GI bug, colds Oy!!!spring is almost here. Things will get better.

Elevated which blood cell count and she wan't put on antibiotics? They only check that when serious infections are suspected. Get a new doctor. Two months is too long to be fighting an infection.

Tell the doctor to evaluate her for Kawasaki Disease. Just to be safe... I hope she feels better soon. Here's a link to the KD Foundation: http://www.kdfoundation.org/index.php?option=com_content&...

Something left out of the list there is that arthritis can set into the weight bearing joints making little ones who walk unable to because of the pain of the arthritis. It goes away after treatment but that's another sign to watch for.

Also left off is that the white blood cell count is high (of course it also can mean a virus/cold/other illness though).

My son was 15 months old, and it was roughly May 1 when they finally figured out what was wrong and treated him.

Also lately the thought is that untreated strep throat might cause it (it very closely resembles rheumatic heart disease). Don't blame yourself for untreated strep throat, even the doctors missed it in my son, again and again. He was in and out of the doctors almost daily - inpatient maybe 3 times due to dehydration, febrile seizures from the high fevers, etc.

They did huge antibiotic shots (one in each thigh within minutes of each other) thinking it was a virus of some type that made him scream and stop breathing, and it didn't do anything for his illness, which had progressed past the strep throat stage at this point (the strep throat looked like it was gone but it actually 'disappears' to the inside of the body and starts making it sick that way.

They even did a spinal tap on him one of the times he was in the hospital.

As I continued to feed information to the doctor about new symptoms it was when the rash in his groin appeared that the doctor consulted with 2 or 3 other doctors and they determined he had KD.

This was 21 years ago around the end of April/beginning of May. Think about checking it out to make sure. And stay on top of any new symptoms you see and let your doctor know each time a new symptom appears.

Hugs to you and your daughter!

Okay, if she is home 99% of the time then something in your house is keeping her sick.

If she is going to pre-school, child care, or Mother's Day Out then she's building her immune system and this is normal.

It truly sounds like she's at an elementary school and....lol...my first thought was licking the doorknobs...sorry, it's late.
