if you are low income the humane society (closest one to downriver is in westland on newburgh) will work with you. they have a program once a month where they will do a spay/neuter and all shots for $20. its on their website also.

I would try and go to the michigan humane society...they take low income and don't charge very much, they'll want you to spay the cat after she delivers though...it's their policy I guess...We have a thorough bred pomeranian pup and they told us we had to nuter him, we haven't decided whether or not we want to breed him yet, he's rare and the pups go for anywhere from 800.00-1000.00 each so we didn't take him yet...good luck...

I think maybe you can try the Human Society. I know my friend said they are having there dog and cat nutered and spaded by them and they are a less in cost then the vet. In any event it's worth a try. Good Luck!

You can take the cat to the Humane Society for routine vaccines and to get her spayed after she delivers. They're alot cheaper than a private vet. Also, check at Pet Supplies Plus on West Rd. by Allen in Woodhaven - they often have a low-cost vaccination clinic. I'm not sure if they will vaccinate her while she's pregnant or not. If she doesn't get spayed after delivery, she'll just keep going into heat, which can be very annoying. Plus, there's already sooo many pets out there looking for homes that end up euthanized. :(
Good Luck!

we go to Dearborn Vet on Michigan they are reasonable. But There is a vet on Van Born not sure what city but McNichols Vet. Well i know a few people who have gone there with cats. I also know 2 of those people went because they were behind on shots and they had heard this place was great. No judgements or anything and it didn't cost a ton of money. hope that helps I have gone to the humane society for shots and I am not a big fan but that's just me.
