I have been spending $150-$200 to get my hair cut & colored. That's ridiculous...I just can't do it anymore. Does anyone have someone they use in The Woodlands area that does a great job without charging an arm & a leg? I need recommendations. I'd love to keep it around $100 for partial foil highlights, cut & style on long(ish) hair. Anybody?
I do hair in the Woodlands and have for 11 years now. Since my youngest was born I only work on Sundays from 11-5 at the TGF at Windvale. On the corner of 242 and 1488. I go to Visible Changes in the Woodlands Mall. A partial highlight costs me $55.00, which is cheap by Woodlands standards. I usually spend about 35.00 for a haircut. The highlights are better because they only need to be redone every 4-5 months, depending on your preference.
Another option is City Cuts in Alden Bridge. They run good specials on coloring and the cuts are about 20.00. City Cuts is part of TGF. Good luck!

This may be too far, but I go to Colour Nation (Sharon El Haje) in Spring (on Louetta between Champions Forest and Steubner Airline). My cut and foils ran around $100. I've been going to Sharon for 7 years and love her cuts and color. Sharon's number is ###-###-####.
When I first heard of the place that I go to, I was a little scepticle but it is AWESOME!!! The place is called SoQ salon on 2920 in a Mobil gas station strip center. It is a brother and sister team that both used to work at Tony & Guy. They do a great job!!! Crystal is better at coloring and both at good at cutting but you could use Crystal for both cut and color. I love it there! Not a normal type hair salon in that the location is weird but they are great! I have shoulder lenght hair and my cut and color were $85. Highly recommend them!!!
Go to Supercuts by the Indian Springs HEB at corner of Kuykendahl and Woodlands Pkwy. Ask for Marisela! She is great and does cuts and color or highlights. I haven't tried any of the other stylists there and ONLY go to Marisela. She is really good and affordable. Should be able to do what you need in your budget. They don't take appts but you can call ahead to make sure she is there and put your name on her list. ###-###-####
