I am in a wedding next Saturday at the Botanic Gardens. My dress is Marine Blue which is one shade lighter than Navy and I do not have much color to my skin since its barley March!! I was thinking about spray tan but since i have never done that before I am nervous about that in case it doesn't turn out right. Can someone give me the low-down on how that works and what risks there are and how much they cost. Oh and how long do they last once u get it? I won't have time to lay out in the sun, nor do I want to go to a tanning booth either. So my other option is tanning cream. I have olive complexion that does tan really easily, but when the tan is gone I feel that I look really pale. So with a navy dress i think I need a little color. Not looking for a dark fake looking tan but at aleast a lighter tan. If u reccommend a place for spray tan that would be helpful also. Preferrably around the Ft.Worth area. Thanks Ladies I appreciate your help! Its starting to stress me out alittle!

What can I do next?

I use the sunless tanning lotion and love it. You just have to make sure you rub it evenly over your skin and you will see results in 4 hours. i usually see mine in about an hour. I do it about every 2 to 3 days so i dont look so dark. Now the spray tans i have never had one so cant tell you about that. But i do get complements when i use my sunless tanning lotion.

Go try a spray tan today or tomorrow. If you don't like it, it will be gone for the most part in a 2-3 days. If you do like it, you can get it done again the day before the wedding. The Mystic Spray tan has worked great for me. Just be sure to use the lotion on areas that can be dry and accumulate too much spray (elbows, knees, hands, feet).

Do you have Tan Co.s in TX? They do really good spray tans. Its vegetable based so no harm, my preggo friends do it. I have used lotions and creams while pregnant and they are junk. Spray tans are kind of expensive though, but if you go to a nice place it looks great.

get a girlfriend, get some trash bags and get a good exfoliator ... pick up the Sally Hansen "Leg Make Up" it is a spray can and it is GREAT for this exact need. You should practice with a girl friend I suggest in the back yard with trashbags or in the shower ... my suggestion to clean the shower afterwards is Scrubbing Bubbles. It is a spray on heavier foundation of sorts and make sure you practice your make up before as well because if you are tanning your current foundation may not be the right shade. This product is GREAT, best when applied in "teams" and best with practice ... Exfoliate before you use the product and exfoliate to get it off in the shower as well! And because it IS a make up I "set it" with a finishing powder.

You can either spray tan or you can use sunless tanning lotion.

Go to planet beach tan on crowley rd (by albertsons) They have the mystic tan around 25.00 I think. They have two levels of color and will tell you which matches you best. You get in the booth naked- they show you how to stand. (Dont wear the booties on your feet- it leaves lines) Then fine mist sprays all over your body and I think the whole thing takes 10 seconds. Then get out and PAT DRY- do not rub. Then you dress and ready to go. I would suggest going thursday evening giving it time to fade and blend and dont shower til Friday morning after you spray.
I used them many times when I lived in Crowley and it never turned out bad for me. (i guess they are still located there)
