I'm needing some recommendations for dentists in the Lewisville area. As we all know dentist are tricky so I prefer someone where the whole family can go to as well as someone who has good "bedside" manner.

We go to Dr. Shih, she is located at the corner of 2499 and 1171 - it's FM, but close by. I've recommended her to many people and no one has been dissappointed. She has 2 small boys of her own, so she is great with kids. I have an 8 year old and 6 year old, both girls, and they love going to the dentist. Her number ###-###-####.

For young children, I highly recommend a pediatric dentist. They specialize in handling little one's fears and needs to squirm or fidget. I presume that the dentist I'm going to recommend for the adults is not that -- but good for you. He was recommended recently by my terrific periodontist, Dr. Johnathon Payne in Coppell (who is talented, painless, and conservative -- meaning he keeps on eye on your budget). He recently recommended to me a dentist, Dr. Roger Mathis, for having a good bedside manner and similar values. (I once knew a dental assistant who quit the dentist she worked for because he recommended several fillings on children that were highly questionable.) If Dr. Payne recommends him, I'd bet on him. Coppell is just a few miles down the road from Flower Mound/Lewisville.
My husband and I go to Cross Timbers Dental in Flower Mound. Both the dentist are great and have wonderful bedside manners as well as the staff. We do not take out children there but thats just because I feel more comfortable with a pediatric dentist but I know they do see kids. I seen them in there and they are very child friendly.
My daughter and I go to Dr.Caffey-Earle she is off of 2499. The staff is great. My daughter loves going to the dentist. They can even schedule both my daughter's and my cleanings at the same time as well. Good luck in finding a dentist that you will love.

I would really recommend taking the kids to a pediatric dentist. Dentist appointments can be a scary new thing for them, and I've found that my girls do much better with a dentist that specializes in kids. Everything about the environment is more kid-friendly. We go to www.dentalcare4kidstexas.com in Flower Mound and love it there. It's just off of 1171 across the street from Kohls. As far as adult dentists go, I would highly recommend Dr.Laurie Barge in Flower Mound. She's off 2499 just south of 1171. I have had tons of work done by her and referred several friends to her. Go to the Dental Depot! This is a great family dental office. The dentists there are very nice and they are even open on Saturdays. They are located on 407, between 2499 and Morriss, right next to Life's A Beach.
My friend, Traci, is a hygienist at Dr Russell Stover. He is located off of Main St and I35...next to 24 HR Fitness. He is so sweet and friendly. All the girls there are very nice. I have had fillings done there as well.
