Dr. Overton is great! I went to him for years until I started working for another vet. My vet is not cheap and does do testing. I feel more comfortable with that... and can afford it due to the discount that I receive. If you need an affordable vet...Dr. Overton is your man!

We use Alma Animal Hospital in Allen. It's near the intersection of Alma and Hedgecoxe. Their prices seem to be right at and a little lower than everyone else I've checked on most things, but I haven't had a dog spayed, so not sure on that one. I'm very pleased with them and their services and facility. My first experience with them was a sad one, we were losing our 12 1/2 year old Pom. But, they were so nice to me and considerate of my feelings that I knew when we got a new puppy we'd go there. I just really can't say enough nice about them. They've been super to deal with on everything!

I took my dog to the SPCA. They are typically less expensive than the vet. I know there is one in McKinney and Dallas has several. You just have to make an appointment.

Dr Gary Hefner on Main St. He is very nice. There is another vet with him (Stephanie Raisch?)is also really nice. They have good prices and are open some Saturdays. They are on the east side of jupiter near the Braums and Auto Zone.

Mike Overton. His office is on McDermott (east side) by the Braum's. Don't have his number w/ me right now, but I know they're reasonably priced.

Dr. Overton is a great vet! He is reasonably priced for everything and he isn't in to over medicating or testing for every single thing. I really enjoyed him being our dog's vet.

A person here calls him a country vet; that is how I almost described him. But he's great with pampered pets too!

The SPCA on FM 720 is probably the most reasonable.

We go to Hight Point Animal Clinic, Dr. Ted Staph at Alma and Spring Creek. We have worked with him for about 20 yrs. He is great. His partner Dr. Pete Bone is good as well. They both have been with us through 5 dogs, (2 are now in doggy heaven). The staff there is great.
