Needing Good Pediatrician in Auburn/Kent Area

I am looking for a good pediatrician in the Auburn/Kent area for my 15 month old son. We have been using a general care doctor for our other children as well, but due to our son's severe dairy allergy we are looking for a pediatrician for him. Not to mention that our son does NOT like his current doctor. Thanks for any suggestions!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I wanted to thank everyone for recommending their wonderful doctors. I didn't think of this until last week when he was sick - he is already familiar with my doctor who I also take my daughters to. So I made an appointment with her and he had no issues with her at all. He let her listen to his breathing - look in his ears - everything - not one little whimper. So even though he is not going to a pediatrician - he is going to an awesome doctor that he likes. So thanks again to all of you who responded!

I use Auburn Pediatrics. They are amazing. The staff knows my kids by sight. They are well informed. The doctors are very involved with the kids. My sons doctor will call after hours to check on them after seeing them with a 103 fever. They are just incredible. Good luck!

We also go to Women's and Family Health Specialists, but we see Dr. Marcia Jordan. It is a wonderful clinic. We just went yesturday for my little guys shots. Every time we go, we are impressed by all of the staff...front desk, nurses, and doctors. Very thorough! And worth the drive!
Good luck!

Cheryl Tan-Jacobson is just wonderful. She works in downtown Covington. I had her as a pediatrician when I hit my awkward teen years and now my 1 year old daughter has her as hers. She is so caring and always listens to what we are concerned about. She always seems to excited to see our daughter.

Hi
Dr. Wiseman at Renton Pediatrics is the best. She has a babyside manner that is so soothing, both of my kids (both under three) just follow her requests without so much as a whimper during examination. Renton Pediatrics is near Valley Medical Hospital and practically in Kent.

I don't know how far you are willing to go but We go to women's and family health specialists in renton, they are just down the street from Ikea. Rebecca Saunders is awesome! we have also seen Darla Klokied who is pretty cool to. I live in auburn and I find the commute worth it, but that is just my opinion =-). In auburn I used to see Charles Warner when I was a kid, although he is a family practitioner, he is a cool guy too.

If you're dealing with food allergies a natural path is good way to go because they focus on more allergy related things then a general doctor would. Because of my allergies to almost every thing except the sun and water :) My son and I go to Sean Sapunar who himself has food allergies. He's an ND 326 Union Avenue, NE suite 7 Renton, Washington 98059 Phone: ###-###-####. He can do almost everything a regular doctor can and if he can't he's very honest and lets you know. So far he's done everything my family has every needed except my annual. (We do have a regular OB/pediatrician as well, for back up)
He is also a professor of anatomy and physiology at the local college. He has a small son (4 or 5) and an almost teenage daughter.
Give it a thought.

We use Dr. Fox (or Dr. Takahashi), also at Virginia Mason in Federal Way (I saw someone also recommended Dr. Naylor). The clinic is easy to get to, has a full lab onsite (a huge plus if you ever need x-rays or labs), has extended hours, and you can easily get same-day appointments with your doctor, or any others in their pediatrics department.
