I am looking for a scrapbooking group and a place outside of my home to go work on my scrapbooking with other women. Preferably in the evening so my husband can keep the kids. Thanks for your suggestions!

I live in Evergreen too. I have one daughter who is 15 months and currently stay at home with her. Check out www.evergreennewcomers.com/ (Evergreen New Comers web site)There are several things you might find that may interest you. There is also a local paper called The Canyon Courier which is helpful. I can't for the life of me remember the new name of the scrap book store because she moved and changed names. But she is located on the outer road of Troutdale which is right off Hwy 74 headed toward the lake on the right(if you're coming from I70). I know she has a set up for folks who want to work.

We are fairly new to CO. We moved to Golden a year and a half ago. We love it! Our children are aged 5 1/2, 3 1/2, 2 and another girl due in March. We are enjoying all that CO has to offer; Mtn. biking, skiing, camping, hiking, etc. We are an active, fun, easy going family that is interested in meeting other families who have at least four children and are active.
My husband travels a lot, he's a software engineer and I'm a
SAHM. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and lived in Chicago for a few years, where I met my husband. He is from Montana and South Dakota.
Maybe we could meet for a coffee/tea sometime? I have a babysitter on Tues. afternoons. I'm sure it has been an adjustment to move here, but I know Evergreen is beautiful and a wonderful place to raise your family. You must have met some great people so far.
Also, my neighbor holds scrapbooking parties about once a month. She has all the materials, as I've bought books from her.

Hi C.! My name is H. Oss and I teach a Stroller Strides class here in Evergreen. I have a son who is 21 months old. There are two moms in my class that I know Scrapbook. One of them said her New Year's resolution was to scrapbook more. Actually, we had a playgroup after class at her house today. We had so much fun, we are going to do it again next week.
