Ok. I have been off of Birth Control for 9 months now and have only had my period for the last 4 of those 9 months but they are the same time each month. In July i had what seemed like a period but it lasted 4 a day and a half and the bleeding was VERY light but with a brownist color (not normal for me). I am still having cramps like my body is trying to come on but nothing is happening besides being miserable. I have severe headaches, Vertigo, and these cramps. I took 3 preg. test and they are all negative. I dont wanna take the time off work to go to the doctor but I may not have a choice. I wouldn't mind having another baby but its not on the top of my list anymore. I tend to use the bathroom more but thats b/c i drink more but i seem to always be thirsty now. Water, juice or soda seems to satisfy me but i only get hungry once a day.......What is going on and what should i do?

So What Happened?

Ok. So it turns out i was dehydrated and not preg. I had a UTI b/c i was not drinking enough water. i took the medicine for 3 days and the dizziness seemed to go away but not the pain in my abdomen. I made an apt with my obgyn and im praying everything is good.

You need to see a doctor and check your sugar levels and hormone levels. Good luck!

I had the same thought as pp about the diabetes. I'd definitely get that checked out. Also, I have a friend who tested negative several times but ended up being pregnant.
Hope you find some answers soon!

It sounds like you have endometrious. I would call your gyn asap and make an apointment. It it endometrious then it is managable, but it couls always be somthing more serious. Either way the sooner you find out the better the end result will be. GOD Bless

Just an idea - have you been checked for diabetes? I know it can make your period irregular and some of the other symptoms you listed made me wonder.

I would try and wait until the August cycle is due. If there still isn't anything, then you should go to the dr. for a few tests.

M. A,
It sounds like you are pregnant. Are you taking the pregnancy test's correctly. You should do your test in the morning after you have gone 6-8 hours of not peeing. If you are drinking a lot of water then your urine may be too dilute to pick up the hcg hormone. Make sure you are peeing directly on the stick for at least 5 seconds. And then make sure you lay it flat for three minutes. Hope this helps.

I hope by the time you read this you've already made an appointment with a doctor, and please don't let them put you off for days or a week -- you need to be seen ASAP. Do it for your son if not for yourself. If it's pregnancy as some have suggested, why the awful cramping? That would be something to check out immediately whether or not you're pregnant--bad cramps this early in apregnancy would be a concern. And "always thirsty" plus dizziness and headaches sounds very much like diabetes. Please insist on getting blood sugar tested as well as having a doctor do the pregnancy test and, if you're not pregnant, insist on other tests. I hate to say it, but ask the doctor if you should be tested for ovarian cancer, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, etc. if you are not pregnant. Good luck and please see a doctor right away.
