OB/GYN Medical Center of Plano

I delivered my two year old there and we had a wonderful experience. My doctor is Dr. Jules Monier (I think that is the right spelling) and he is great. We live in McKinney and are actually trying to conceive again, and although Dr. Monier's office is a little bit of a drive for us, I am not changing doctors. I am really happy with him! I delivered at Medical Center of Plano in July of 05. I loved it! The nurses are fantastic and the facility is really nice. I had a c-section and was there for 4 1/2 days. My doctor is Dr. Hartley (I believe she has been referred on this site before). She is right across the street from the hospital and practices with 3 other women. She is wonderful. I had my baby at Plano Medical Center and was very happy. I felt really good about the care I got there. Delivery nurse was fantastic. When I needed the epidural, they were there pretty quick. Was checked on frequently at night to make sure I was o.k. and comfortable. I have only good things to say about my stay there.

My OB/GYN has an office right near Plano Medical Center. His name is Dr. Greebon. The name of the practice is Women's Specialists of Plano.

I delivered my daughter at Plano Medical Center in April 2004. I had a good experience there. The rooms are a good size and were fairly comfortable and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hospital also offers a siblings class. It's a class were the kids make a decoration to put in the bassinett with the baby. They give the kids a T-shirt that says "Im the big brother/sister". They show how to properly hold the baby and help with a bottle. It wasn't a real informative class it touched on the basics and it made my son feel special. Also, they take you on a tour of the delivery floor. They show the kids where mommy and the baby will stay the night. It was helpful and I think the cost is $10 per child. My ob/gyn was Dr. Jean Ferrara she is professional not one of those overly motherly types. My first ob was very personal but Dr. Ferrara isn't like that I guess it's just her personality. She is very knowledgeable and I felt very sure in her abilities and had no worries. I did end up having a scheduled C-section due to some complications in my previous delivery. She recommended the C-section and told me the risks of both a natural delivery and a C-section. She left the choice up to me and my husband and I didn't feel pressured to go either way and I really liked that about her. Everything turned out great and if I were to have another baby I would use her again. I still see her for my yearly check-ups. There are also 4 other doctors (all female) in the office and actually you will have one appointment with each of them so that you will be familiar with them in case of an emergency and Dr. Ferrara is unavailable. Her office staff is very friendly and outstanding. I hope this helps and good luck with the new baby.

The hospital was great, but they do check on you very often during the night, so do not expect to get a whole lot of sleep after the birth. Dr. Jeffrey Carruth and staff are wonderful and his office is located in one of the professional buildings on the hospital campus. I hope this helps you. Good luck!

I highly recommend Medical Center at Plano. My doctor was Dr. David Fong---excellent!
