I would like to get opinions on the Parents Choice Infant & Toddler Formula.
I have noticed the price difference compared to other formulas but just wondering if it's a good formula.
Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

I loved Parents Choice. I felt that it dissolved better than more expensive brands and if you look at the list of ingredients and compare them they are almost exactly the same. The price difference is huge when it comes to formula.

I used it for my third child and it was great! Most off-brand formulas are made at the same place name brand ones are made. They are all regulated and have the same ingredients and nutrition. I wish I would have thought to use the parents choice with my first two children!

I used parent's choice formula and so have a couple of my friends. Formula makers have a set of guidelines they must follow so they are for the most part the same no matter the name.

I used Parents choice for my second child, and she did great! I checked with 2 different pediatricans before I made the switch. Both said there are no problems with it, and the savings are great! It is FDA approved so it cant be lacking. If you compare labels to the name brands you will see that the percents are pretty close. Sometimes Parents Choice will even be higher in % than the name brands. Good luck to you!

I used parent's choice for my second child. He was breast-fed till 6 months old & then had to have a soy based formula & that was the first one we tried because of price & it worked great. After he had it for a month if we tried to give him similac or enfamil he would be sick. I highly recommend Parent's Choice.

My two year old twins spent most of their first year on Parent's Choice - the pediatrician said it was perfectly fine, it meets all the standars set by the FDA for nutrition. It was a lot less bubbly after being shaken to mix than Enfamil. My boys had a whole lot less spit up when they switched from Enfamil to the PC. I've seen some people complain that it didn't dissolve well, that was never my experience. Maybe it was because I warmed the water in the microwave for 20 - 30 seconds then added the powder to shake. Give it a try and spend the money you save buying other things your kiddos need!

I used it with my daughter and now use it with my son. My pedi said it's the same as the expensive stuff since it all has to be FDA regulated anyway. My kids have both done great on it, and I love it!

N.,

my little girl started being supplemented with formula when she was about 3 months old. we were using parents choice, but our pediatrician recommended that we use similac or enfamil. he said they really are better. because we are young parents and don't have a ton of money, his office was able to supply us with samples for free so we didn't have to start buying it for awhile. i don't know what the difference would be; i just stayed with similac/enfamil because our doctor suggested it.

good luck.

We tried the more expensive ones first. To be honest they made our son have more gas.

We have been using Parent's Choice for many months. Our son is thriving and vital. I feel that it is a very good product.

Take care!

My daughter has a milk allergy and we used to use the soy versions from Similac and Enfimil but she would still have an occasional reaction and her skin would break out. One day I did the research I found that PC is made by the same people that make Good Start. So, I decided to try the soy PC and she hasn't had a break out since she started it. It mixes well and doesn't smell as bad as some of the others, in my opinion. (And the price is a huge weight off my back.)
