Hi Moms!
Does anyone know of a good party punch recipe? I have had one that was made with icecream/sherbert but was looking for something different. Thanks.

How about "Sangria Punch"

3/4 cup Country Time Lemonade (or Pink Lemonade)
1 qt. reduced calorie cranberry juice cocktail
1 cup cold orange juice
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
3 cups cold club soda
2 medium oranges, sliced
2 medium limes, sliced

Empty drink mix into large pitcher (or bowl), add cranberry, orange and lime juices. stir until mix is dissolved. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir in club soda and sliced fruit when ready. Tastes and looks awesome.

I like to use Sprite and White grape juice. It looks like Champagne. I also take the fruit we serve and some of the white grape juice in a small ring. It make a very pretty presentation and it does not water down the punch as it melts.

I served both of these at a Fall baby shower and they were a hit, one warm and one cold for variety.

Warm and Spicy Punch

2 oranges
8 whole cloves
6 cups apple juice
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 1/4 cups pineapple juice

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Stud the whole oranges with cloves, and bake for 30 minutes.
3. In a large saucepan, combine the apple juice and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, and stir in the nutmeg, honey, lemon juice, and pineapple juice.
5. Serve hot in a punch bowl with the 2 clove-studded baked oranges floating on top. (I served this out of a crockpot to keep it warm and for a nicer presentation)

Tea Punch

1 cup white sugar
1 cup strong brewed black tea (vanilla flavor optional)
4 cups orange juice
4 cups pineapple juice
4 cups prepared lemonade
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled
(or add a little vanilla flavoring if you can't find flavored tea)

1. In a pitcher, combine sugar and tea. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in orange juice, pineapple juice and lemonade. Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours.
2. Just before serving, pour chilled juice mixture into a punch bowl and stir in ginger ale.

2 liter of 7UP or Sprite and a big can or 1/2 jug of Hawaiian Punch. (for more flavor you can add pineapple juice too.)

You can also google for a punch recipe and come up w/a ton of recipes.

Depends on the sex but I went for the sherbert, 7up and Hawaiian Punch. I would do red for a girl because it gives a pink color, or blue for a boy. But I didn't like the flavor of the blue so I did green for my baby shower. It was so tasty! Everyone loved it! Good luck on whatever you choose though!

Hi L.,

I don't necessarily have a punch recipe, but I would however like to share a REALLY cute gift/centerpiece idea for the shower. Check out www.incredible-inedibles.com . Every baby shower I've gone to I've either given them as gifts to the mom-to-be or used as centerpieces for the tables. Hope this helps!

mix 1 bottle of cranberry juice with 1 2 liter of 7 up. then to sweeten add pinapple juice. Just a little pinapple juice. Taste test it until it's sweet enough.

p.s. it tastes better when cold.

My favorite is Renee M's suggestion - sherbert, 7up and Hawaiian Punch. Instead of 7up, I've also had it with Sprite, Ginger Ale and even Champagne before as well. I think the Ginger Ale was my favorite but they are all really good. I love the idea of red for a girl and blue or green for a boy. :-)

3 cups sugar
2 pints strawberries, hulled
1 (1-liter) bottle lemon-lime soda (recommended: Sprite)

Place the whole strawberries into a ring mold. Pour in enough fruit juice to fill the mold. Freeze. Refrigerate the remaining juice.

When ready to serve, pour the fruit juice into a punch bowl and add the soda. Float the strawberry ice ring in the punch

Strawberry - Banana Punch

2 pkgs Strawberry Kool Aid
3 Cups Sugar
3 Bananas Blended in Blender
1 Large Can Pineapple Juice
1/2 gal water

Mix, Freeze Overnight

The day of the shower, just take it out and let it thaw in a punch bowl.

Enjoy and don't OD on the sugar!

I do Hawaiian punch and 7 up with sherbet but what I thought was neat was a neighbor did a ring inside that had a ton of fruit in it with some sort of juice. As it melted it went into the punch as really good like cherries and such. G. W

My favorite is the punch with sherbet in it-you can use whatever color you like and then add either 7-up, sprite etc. It tastes really good.

Depending on the type of shower you are doing (cute, formal, ect.) you could do Chai Tea, hot or iced. They sell the mix at Wal-mart in the tea isle.

This may sound too easy but I have used this at several showers and parties and I always get compliments on it. It's especially good if you're strapped for time. Mix up Countrytime Strawberry Lemonade and add cut up strawberries and lemon slices. It looks nice and everyone likes it. Good luck with the shower!
